Where is the Happily Ever After Party?

Answer

Chilo's GREENWOOD (not the OG spot in Bed-Stuy.) Address is 740 5th Avenue in Brooklyn. If you're taking the train, the 25th Street Station (D, N, R, W) is one block away.

What time should I arrive at the Happily Ever After Party?

Answer

We suggest as close to 5pm as possible. The taco truck will be available during the entire party, and dessert will be served around 7:30pm.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, but a pretty wide one. More dressy than jeans, but also less dressy than black tie. Wear whatever makes you happy (within that range).

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are extremely fortunate to already have a house full of love, laughter, and pretty much everything else we need. We have a registry with Zola that includes a few gifts that would be useful for our new apartment in Ridgewood. If you do choose to honor us with a gift, one of these items or a contribution towards our dream honeymoon (also found on our Zola registry) would be greatly appreciated.

Is this a ceremony?

Answer

Nope. This is a party! We got married in a small private ceremony December 27, 2021, and we're so excited to finally celebrate with you. This is much more of a reception/party than a ceremony. Our party will be primarily in an outdoor setting, but there are umbrellas for each table and a fairly sizable indoor area in case of inclement weather.

What if it rains?

Answer

Then it's a sign of good luck for our marriage...at least, that's what everyone keeps telling us. ;) In all seriousness though, it will be okay! Chilo's Greenwood has a pretty ample indoor space. We would suggest bringing a rain jacket, and wear something warm if you tend to get cold, as the project low is 51F.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Your choice! This is a party with loud music, but there will also be ample space at Chilo's Greenwood, and we will also have a few lawn games for children (and adults) to play. Please indicate on your RSVP if you will be bringing any children.
