SAVANNA'S POINT OF VIEW: My "first memory" of Shawn was in 2nd grade on the George Pierce Park football field. Although I was a cheerleader, my dad enjoyed watching & talking about Shawn's athletic talents... for years.... (he really wasn't THAT good). Years went by and Shawn ended up at Buford, a high school just a few miles from mine, and still had many of the same friends from that 2nd grade football team. Social media was in full force & we came across each other realizing we shared many of those mutual friends. Shawn DMed me on Twitter in March of 2013, took me on a date to a Braves game, and the rest is history. We spent lots of time together before college, survived long distance throughout college, and have truly grown up together since we graduated college. I am so thankful to have had Shawn by my side through some of the most difficult phases of life & look forward to continuing our love story for all of the years to come.
