Presque Isle Park
You can drive around the entire island. Make sure to stop and see the breakwall, walk on the black rocks, and see a beautiful view of Lake Superior from Sunset Point!

Perfect for a beautiful walk along the pier, with lots of room in the park for running and games. It's also the best place in Marquette to see the Ore Dock up close!

Sugarloaf Mountain

McCarty's Cove
Located adjacent to the US Coast Guard Station near the intersection of Lakeshore Boulevard and East Michigan Street, McCarty’s Cove includes a swimming beach on Lake Superior with lifeguard watch, two volleyball areas, picnic tables, small restroom facility, drinking fountain, cooking grills (three), parking area, and a playground with a wooden play structure on the bluff above the beach.
