Morgan
Matron of Honor
Morgan and Kristina met at UVM, as undergraduate nursing students and also rugby players. Their adventures together continued after college, playing on the Burlington Rugby club as 'matching' second rows ("The Twin Towers"). Morgan is a very loyal, supportive, and best friend Kristina could ask for - she has been a huge help with keeping Kristina sane during grad school and also with wedding planning! Kristina was also Morgan's maid of honor at her wedding to her beautiful wife, Melissa (Lex's bridesmate) and Kristina cannot wait for Morgan to be by her side on this day!
Duke
Best Woman
Duke and Lex met in college at Lock Haven University. They played rugby together and became best friends. Lex was the Best Women in Duke's wedding. Duke is one of the best friends anyone could ever want. Duke and her wife, Jenna, have a beautiful family full of tiny humans and four legged creatures.
Ashley E
Best Woman
Ashley and Kristina also met while playing rugby at UVM - their friendship did not develop until they became co-captains of the team and had to navigate the ins and outs of that team together. Their friendship also continued after college, with Kristina living with Ashley and her (now) wife, for a year or so. Their adventures together have been endless. Ashley is a best friend and is someone that Kristina can always count on to go for a run, grab a drink, help with wedding planning and keeping Kristina's life all in one piece! Kristina was also Ashley's maid of honor and is thrilled to have Ashley next to her during these festivities!
Amber
Maid of Honor
Amber is Lex's big sister who came into her life when their parents married in 1998. Being so close in age, Amber and Lex were very close growing up and shared a love of volleyball. They continue to stay close even though Amber lives in Washington state. Amber is the kind of sister that anyone would be lucky to have. She always keeps you laughing but is always "a good man in a storm."
Ashley W
Bridesmaid
Ashley is Kristina's oldest sister. From playing rugby together in high school and at UVM - Kristina being a freshman and Ashley being a senior in both cases; to navigating adult life together and Ashley's guidance as the first married Wilson women, Ashley has always been a role model to Kristina. She is someone who always looks on the bright side of things and while they do not see each other very often, someone that Kristina knows she can always turn to for anything.
Katie O
Bridesmate
Katie and Lex met in college at Lock Haven University. Katie introduced Lex to rugby even though they never actually played together. After college Katie and Lex lived together in a small coal town in Pennsylvania called Revloc. Katie is a great friend and someone that you can always count on.
Becky
Bridesmaid
Becky, or should we say Dr. Becky, is also Kristina's older sister. She is someone who is always up for an adventure or helping you plan your next adventure! She recently obtained her PhD in chemical engineering and Kristina could not be more proud of her! Becky is one of the kindest, most genuine person that Kristina knows and is also a very loyal sister to her!
Emily
Bridesmate
Lex met Emily in Upstate New York at the Can-Am Rugby Tournament. They both play on a team called the Missfits, which happens to be the same team where Lex met Kristina. Emily and Lex have become good friends over the years between coordinating a rugby team and everyday life. Emily is the kind of friend that everyone needs, she empowers everyone around her to be their best and keeps them smiling.
Kerry
Bridesmaid
Believe it or not, Kerry is Kristina's twin ('womb-mates') -while we look completely different (the favorite game of our parents was "guess who the twins are" whenever they met new people), everyone says that we have very similar mannerisms. Kerry is an adventurous free-spirit, qualities that Kristina has always admired in her! If you are looking for someone to lead you in a mountain-bike adventure before the wedding, she is your go-to girl! Kerry is always willing to help out, host a wonderful family dinner, and a great person to spend quality time with!
Dunn
Bridesmate
Dunn (Melissa) and Lex met each other through Kristina's Matron of Honor, Morgan, who happens to be Dunn's wife. Dunn and Lex became fast friends even though there was no choice in the matter. They share a love of many random things from rugby to woodworking. Dunn is a loving and kind human who's light always shines, even when the night is dark and full of terrors.
Faith
Bridesmaid
Faith is the youngest 'Wilson girl', and she and Kristina both share a passion for healthcare with Faith starting her adventure in medical school, and Kristina hopefully finishing up her MSN for midwifery/women's health soon - Faith has been very willing to edit Kristina's papers for her this past semester! Faith is passionate, intelligent, and a genuinely good person.
Lauren
Bridesmate
Lex met Lauren when she lived in Charleston, South Carolina. They played rugby together on the Charleston Hurricanes Women's Rugby Team. Lauren has always been a great friend to both Lex and Kristina. Lauren is a friend that is always up for a good time, will show up when you need her, and can give you a quick haircut if you need it.
Lindsey
Bridesmaid
Lindsey and Kristina also met when Kristina moved to South Carolina and Lex became friends with Lindsey's wife, Anna Dean (Lex's bridesmate). They quickly realized their shared love of Target, brunch, and the beach and along with their significant others became quick friends. Although Kristina has now moved away and can't beach, brunch, and get manis/pedis on a regular basis with each other, Lindsey is someone that is trustworthy and always wiling to lend an ear for advice!
Anna Dean
Bridesmate
Anna and Lex met in South Carolina through the Hurricanes Rugby Team. They are two peas in a pod. You would be most likely to find them with a power tool in their hands or on a beach with a beer in hand. Anna is married to Lindsey, one of Kristina's Bridesmaids. These four can get into a fair amount of fun or trouble depending on how you look at it. Anna is a very loyal and trustworthy friend, after all, Lex did trust her to keep the ring safe for Lex before she was ready to propose. Anna has always been there for Lex and even let Lex borrow her truck!
