The outdoors inspire us. We like to enjoy wide open, wild spaces and places that make us feel small and yet free at the same time. We've always been supportive of public lands and land management (Kyle picks up trash on trails, if that doesn't say enough...) When we traveled cross-country and landed our feet in Yosemite, it immediately became a special place for us. It showed us how beautiful this country really is, and we instantly felt a connection. We've always talked about having a smaller wedding. We both mainly want something more intimate, and something that really displays "us". We feel that there's no better way to say our vows than on the top of a mountain, in a unique place, with mother nature as our background. There are several other reasons why we are deciding to get married in the middle of nowhere, but for the most part, we just want to keep things simple, with a touch of elegance and natural beauty. We are saying our vows and signing our marriage license on August 29, 2019 in Yosemite National Park, California and we're pretty sure it's going to be magical!
Even though we are traveling to the absolute middle of nowhere to officially get married, we still want to celebrate with all of you and we hope that our small reception finds you just as much happiness as it does for us! We hope that when you come to celebrate with us in September, you feel the comfortable and quaint vibe that we're aiming for. Nothing fancy, just love. We'll see you there!
