Lauren Meyer

Bride

Lauren was born in Illinois (GO BEARS!) and has lived in five different states throughout her life. She is an animal lover (especially cats and dogs), both an indoor and outdoor competitive swimmer, and a youth and adult swim coach. She has completed the "Great Chespeake Bay Bridge Swim" (4.4 miles) twice! Lauren is an alum of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (GO HEELS!). She has been employed in the print industry over five years and is a Marketing Solutions Specialist with Ironmark, an image and marketing company based in Maryland.

Dan Renz

Groom

Dan is a "Jersey Boy" at heart; he lived in New Jersey throughout his childhood and into early adulthood before moving to Maryland during a transfer between colleges. He is also an animal lover like Lauren, has played competitive indoor volleyball, and is a percussionist (though it has been a while!). He is an alum of Towson University (undergrad studies) and Methodist University (grad school). Dan is employed as a Threat Analyst and Investigator with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Office of Investigations in Washington, DC. He has just over 12 years of federal service and his previous positions include Special Agent/Investigator and Transportation Security Officer.

Lauren and Cori met when they were colleagues at a print services company called PCA. They quickly developed a strong friendship and have remained close friends ever since! Cori resides with her husband Fraser in Maryland.

Sean Renz

Best Man

Sean is Dan's younger and only sibling. They have many great memories growing up together, to include volunteering with a fire department in their hometown and living together while attending Towson University (in Maryland) for undergraduate studies. Sean resides in San Jose, CA.

Fr. Anthony Lickteig

Officiant

Fr. Anthony Lickteig is a priest of the Archdiocese of Washington, and was ordained after completing his theological training at the Pontifical North American College in Rome. He earned the degrees of Bachelor of Sacred Theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University and Licenciate in Sacred Theology at the John Paul II Institute for Studies in Marriage and Family, also in Rome. Prior to entering seminary, Fr. Lickteig worked for a management and technology consulting firm, having earned a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. He was most recently pastor of both Sacred Heart Church in Bushwood, Maryland and Holy Angels Church in Avenue, Maryland. He moved to the Washington, D.C. area in 2000, where he lived in northern Virginia and Capitol Hill.

Linnea is Lauren’s cousin on Lauren’s mother’s side of the family. We are very excited for Linnea to be our Junior Bridesmaid!

Sean Hui

Ring Bearer

Sean is the son of our Bridesmaid Tina Hui and her husband, Kevin Hui. The Hui Family has been friends with Lauren for a number of years and Dan has recently grown very close with them. We can't wait to have Sean as our Ring Bearer!
