Patuxent South Tract National Wildlife Visitor Center
This is a FREE attraction in Laurel owned and operated by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (which falls under the U.S. Department of the Interior). It is kid-friendly and features several interactive wildlife exhibits and a gift shop.
Jailbreak Brewing Company
This is one of Dan and Lauren’s favorite local Maryland breweries! Jailbreak is located in Laurel not far from where Dan and Lauren live.
Rams Head Tavern Savage Mill
Rams Head Tavern is a small local restaurant and bar chain (with the other location in Annapolis, MD) that serves great beer and drinks and large-portion meals and appetizers. It is conveniently located next door to our reception venue (The Great Room) at Historic Savage Mill.

Historic Savage Mill is a small development of retail shops and eateries located in a former cotton mill complex. The complex includes Rams Head Tavern and our reception venue, The Great Room.
