Sofia and Chris went to different high schools but shared many of the same friends. In high school, Sofia played lacrosse, and one day she had a game at Chris’s school. That night Chris happened to be volunteering with the athletic trainer. After the game, Chris caught her attention from a distance. Excited, she pointed him out to her friend, who happened to know him and tried to make an introduction. Feeling a little nervous and not at her best, Sofia panicked and ran back to the bus, missing the introduction—but that brief moment sparked a connection that would grow over the years! After high school and during college they stayed in touch, seeing each other regularly at events and group outings. Their friendship gradually deepened, and in 2019, they officially began dating. (FINALLY!) From those first stolen glances across the lacrosse field, to graduating from college and beginning their respective careers, their relationship grew naturally, full of laughter, support, and love—the journey that brings us here today!
