Renita Ramphal

Bride

Ryan Samaroo

Groom

Veronica Singh

Matron of Honor

The roots of our friendship run deep, as Renita's parents and mine once shared not just a home but also a serious passion. We forged a sisterhood strengthened by our shared love for music, dance, and the arts. She’s my best friend and also a cherished Mausi to my children. Renita is an integral part of every milestone in my life. Her presence has made those moments unforgettable. Renita holds a special place in my heart, and I wouldn't change that for anything. Ryan and I were practically infants when our paths first crossed. We shared a bond woven tight by our families. Ryan embodies dedication and family values, tirelessly striving to bring joy to those he holds dear. To this extraordinary couple, may your love continue to blossom and flourish, filling each day with warmth, laughter, and boundless joy. As you embark on this journey together, know that I am honored and privileged to stand by your side, supporting you, cheering you on, and celebrating every moment of your love story.

Talon Guerra

Best Man

I've known Ryan for about 20 years, which is crazy to think. Time seems to be flying by these days. As the years progressed, our friendship stood the test of time. I saw Ryan persevered through high school where he excelled academically and athletically.. looking at us now, you would never guess we were actually in shape! In our Early 20s we spent many nights hanging out, staying out of trouble and sometimes probably doing some questionable things. Back on all the wonderful years we’ve had together, I’m so proud to call one of my best friends. I'm so thankful for his friendship and his commitment for being there for all those years and also presently with the birth of my first child Maeve. Ryan is an incredible man who is deserving of such a wonderful woman like Renita. I wish both of you endless happiness. Lastly, I look forward to making many more memories with you and your wonderful wife to-be.

Serina Ramphal

Maid of Honor

I've known my sister from the second I came out of the womb, even though I don't remember it. She's my only sibling, best friend, mentor and mother figure and I don't know where I would be without her. Renita is the best Mausi to my son Orion. Ryan is the best big brother I could have asked for and I'm grateful to have him join our family. Thank you for being the best Oda in Orion's life. I love watching the bond you two have. Renita and Ryan are one of the two most important people in my life. I love you both and I'm so excited to witness your marriage. Ren, you chose a good one!

Brandon Shatkosky

Groomsman

Ryan and I first crossed paths in high school, where our friendship sparked in business class, bonding over an assignment I admittedly didn't contribute much to. We found common ground in our shared interests of cars, boats, fishing, and of course, food. Our connection deepened as we embarked on trips to Vegas, savouring memorable meals along the way. Whether it's hitting the cottages for some quality buddy time or standing side by side at each other's weddings, Ryan has become more than a friend; he's family. Growing up, we spent a lot of time hanging out, watching movies, going for drives and of course many dinners. As we get older and life gets busier, we don’t see each other as much as we'd like, however when we do get together, we are able to pick up where we left off like no time had passed. I look forward to the opportunity to reciprocate the unwavering support he's shown me as we continue to navigate life's adventures together.

Rebecca Samaroo

Bridesmaid

Well, I've known Ryan his whole life. He's the best little brother I could've asked for! From watching random shows and having similar taste in music, I was basically the older brother for him, so I'd say we're pretty close. He also bought Leo, so I'll forever be thankful for that! One day he met a girl in 2020, and at first I was like dang, this is a pretty nice girl, but to find out she was also Guyanese was a huge bonus. I was so happy that the day finally came that Ryan would get a nice, nice gyalfriend. Since then, Renita and I have created such a close bond that includes lots of laughter and good times. I am happy to say I now have a younger sister, who I call Bouji. I could not be happier for my little bro and now new sis. I am looking forward to their special day and more fun and exciting things to come!

Sharon Clark

Bridesmaid

As the oldest sister of groom, Ryan has always been my sweet baby brother who has achieved such greatness in being our local soccer star, our fun, witty jokester and has always been driven and motivated in any of his goals. Upon meeting Renita, she has brought a breath of fresh air to Ryan's life in all their fun drives blasting chutney music, chill movie date nights and creating many new firsts together. I'm looking forward to the next chapter in their lives together and all the great memories to come.

Blake Rice

Groomsman

Ryan and I met in grade 5 but never really clicked until early in high school. Being the introverted person I am, I was never the one to go looking for new friends, but Ryan saw the opportunity to partner up with me for a project in our 10th grade marketing class. Since that day, I have not only gained a new friend, but honestly, a brother I never knew I needed. Ryan has always made an effort to be there for me in all the highs and lows. I never knew working on a school project would allow me to meet my best friend, but I've been grateful for that moment ever since.

For all the days along the way
