To make things even better, Ashley made Renisha the God Mother of her children who are also in the wedding. Watch out for these two together on the dance floor because they know how to party like there's no tomorrow.

From strangers to Sorority Sisters in 2011, Jasmine and the Bride have become best friends. These two are always connected, even while living in different states their thoughts are identical. Distance will never get in the way of these two. In 2015, Renisha played the role of Maid of Honor in Jasmine's wedding, it's only right that Jasmine stands beside Renisha as her Matron of Honor.

More like Sisters than Cousins, Octavia is the Brides first Cousin. Only 7 years apart, Octavia has seen the Bride grow into the woman she is today since she was just a kid. There's nothing like family by your side during your greatest moments.

Through the luxury of being military kids and having to make new friends every time you move, Janay has been the Brides great friend since 10th grade. These two never skip a beat whether they see each other for just a minute or a month it's always a cherished moment. Janay is also the creator of the wedding cake and we hope you all enjoy!

When it comes to needing a wing man, the Bride has Trene and they are also Sorority Sisters. Trene understands the Brides crazy and has been rolling with her through any and everything since 2011. Their relationship is known for its genuine and gentle moments.

Giggles and tickles are what you get when you put the Bride and Brittany together. The pair can't be stopped when it comes to showing love and support for one another. Brittanys bubbly personality is just what the Bride has needed in a Sister. It has been a good time since 2011 between these two.

If you are looking for the sweetest person of The Bride Tribe, look no further. Destiny and the Bride met through Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. Destiny is a beautiful spirit that adds balance to the Brides life, and they have had each other's backs since 2011.

If the Bride was granted a little sister in real life it would've been Amber. Amber is the one who gets pranked and loved at the same time. The two always find time for each other when they can, whether it's in SC or the DMV it only brings them closer. Her and the Bride have been on the same tune since 2012 and its pure comedy.
Talaya Loran

Just as the Bride and Groom found love through football, the Bride and Talaya found each other on the football field as well. Playing on a championship winning team together since 2018, these two have become best friends on and off the field. From calling each other at random times just to vent or just to say hello to running around in the streets together, the two have some of the best moments together.
Diante Richardson
Best Man
Meeting in college and being football teammates, Diante and the Groom have become best friends ever since. Given all the trials and tribulations these two have been through together, it only makes sense that Diante is the Best Man. Like two sides of the same coin the two have always had each others back. Diante is someone who Ka’Shawn knows will always answer a call and is war ready. To call them anything less than brothers would do a disservice to their bond.
Dijon Davidson

Dijon is Ka’Shawns Long time friend. They first met in high schools and were teammates on the football team. Once they graduated high school they both attended Widener University and teamed up again on the football field. They’ve been there for each other through some very trying times but they both were able to help each other grow tremendously. There are two phrases that these two live by, “No excuses, no regrets” and “ Be Great”. Dijon has been a powerful source of encouragement in Ka’Shawns life. For this he can’t thank Dijon enough

Kelvin is probably one the most calm, cool and collective people Ka'Shawn has ever met. They started off as strangers, becoming roommates and then eventually fraternity brothers. Their bond as Brothers has only gotten stronger since. Not only do they keep each other focused on achieving their goals but they are always there to support each other through the good and bad times.

Michael, also known as Mike Ward, and Ka'Shawn met through college football and always hung out together on campus. Whether it was in the pool hall of the cafe, these two always knew how to have an absolute fun time together. Mike Ward has always lended a listening ear and offered up great words of advice and vice versa. He has been able to bring comedic relief to every situation and will most certainly bring that to the wedding. Just “don’t drop the phone Mike!”

Martin and Ka'Shawn were often mistaken for blood brothers in college. They always looked out for each other and would give the shirt off their backs to make sure the other was alright. One thing about Martin is that he has always had boundless energy. Whether on the football field or on the dance floor he'd always put on show, theres no way you could miss him. That same energy is what we'll be looking forward to on the wedding day.

Nidir is a fraternity brother of Ka'Shawn's. He is a man of honor and principle and has taught Ka'Shawn what it really means to be a man who stands on his word. With anything that Ka'Shawn has tried to do with his life, Nidir has always been there and supported him through all his endeavors. It’s that support that will be needed not only for the wedding day but for the rest of Ka'Shawn's life.

Orlando is not only someone that Ka’Shawn has looked up to in Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. but also someone he wanted to emulate on the football field. Orlando excelled on the field and earned the title of All-American. Now he is excelling in his career. He’s helped Ka’Shawn find his way through their fraternity, encouraged his football endeavors and now will be supporting him and his fiancé throughout their marriage.
Tyris Jones

Brought together by the flag football leauge known as Project Black Flag, Tyris and Ka’Shawns friendship began to flourish not only on the field but off of it as well. Tyris is someone Ka’Shawn has always been able to rely on since moving to the DMV area. They often find themselves brainstorming constantly on different business and entrepreneurial plans. Tyris is the prime example of what it means to a successful black man in Coperate America. He is very focused, calculated and goal oriented. When you’re looking for results Ty always delivers

Ameer and Ka’Shawn met freshman year of college. They played football and ran track together. Whether on the track or on the field these two were a dynamic duo. Pushing each other to get better each and every day. Ameer has grown tremendously over the years they’ve known each other and Ka’Shawn is grateful to have had the opportunity to be there to support him through every new chapter. Now Ameer has the opportunity to be a part of the biggest and most exciting chapter in Ka’Shawns life yet.

Julian is the oldest of the Brides Nephew’s. He offers hugs and a lot of love along with a few dance moves only the newer generation can keep up with! As one of the Ring Bearers, we’re more than positive his good looks and charming smile will wow the guest as he walks down the aisle.

Jeremiah is the second eldest of the Brides Nephews and she can always count on this genius to teach her something new! Hopefully there will be time for him to teach a guest or two something during the wedding. Uncle Tony as the Bride calls him, yup, you read right!! The Brides Uncle who has been there since she was a baby will be officiating her wedding. When Uncle Tony and the Bride get together, it’s game on! With a traditional game of Phase 10 bringing out the competitive side of these two, there's still so much love. The Groom has even found himself going head to head with Uncle Tony in a round of Phase 10! The Bride and Groom couldn't be more blessed to have him front and center on their big day!
