OAK is a very convenient airport that can be accessed by Lyft/Uber as well as BART (public transportation).

SFO is the biggest airport in the region that can be accessed by BART (public transportation) and Lyft/Uber. OAK Airport is closer to where we'll be holding our wedding reception, but SFO may offer a greater variety in flight options.

We have a group rate here, more details below. This hotel is located is 1.5 miles away from where we'll be having our wedding reception. Conveniently located in Downtown Berkeley with easy access restaurants as well as BART, the train that can easily bring you to Oakland and San Francisco. Rooms at this rate are limited -- the discounted rate will be available until all the rooms of the block are filled up or July 10, whichever comes first.

We have a group rate here, see details below. This hotel is 3miles away from where we'll be having our reception. The hotel is on the Emery-Go-Around shuttle line which connects you to the MacArthur BART station, which can be used to get to OAK, SFO, and San Francisco. The hotel is within walking distance to the Public Market Food Hall and the Bay Street shopping center. Reservations can be made via the link below or you can call the Central reservations desk at 1-888-627-8078 and reference the Ferris Renick wedding group to help agents located the correct rate. The last day to book reservations at the reduced group rate will be Friday July 12, 2024

For those wanting to stay in San Francisco, here's an option for a hotel along the Embarcadero with plenty to walk to and see that is easily accessible by public transportation. This hotel is about 12miles from the location of our wedding reception, you can travel to the East Bay by BART, Ferry or Lyft/Uber. If you plan to stay in SF, just be sure you plan for travel time, the Bay Bridge is notorious for traffic.

Transportation & Rental Cars

A combination of Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) and Lyfts/Uber will likely be sufficient options for getting you to/from airports and around town. If you are looking to get outside of the city and explore wine county, the mountains, etc., you may want to rent a car.
