Are kids invited?

Answer

While we adore all of your kids, we’ve decided to keep our wedding mostly adults-only, with children included only for family members. We hope this gives you a night to relax, celebrate, and enjoy the party! During the ceremony, if a child becomes disruptive, a parent may be gently asked to step out with them to help preserve the sanctity of the moment. At the reception, we also ask for your help in ensuring children remain respectfully quiet during special moments like the first dance and speeches, so everyone can enjoy and cherish them. We truly appreciate your understanding and support in making the day memorable for all!

Is there a dress code?

Formal, we are asking guests to put on their best to celebrate with us!

Is there parking at the church?

Answer

Parking for the church will be available at Lincoln Elementary School. Street parking is also an option, but we strongly encourage carpooling if possible, as the church is located downtown and parking can be limited.

Is there transportation provided to/from the venue?

Answer

No, but the church and hotel are only a 10–15 minute drive apart

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

Harrisburg International Airport (MDT) is local to Harrisburg but is a smaller airport. If you’re looking to fly into a larger international airport, we recommend Baltimore (BWI), which is about an hour away, or Dulles (IAD) and Philadelphia (PHL), which are both about two hours away.

Will there be any cultural traditions during the ceremony I should know about?

Answer

We will be having a traditional Coptic Crowning Wedding Ceremony! We’d love for you all to participate with us. Throughout the ceremony, the priest will pause occasionally to explain what is happening.
