Ryan and I met in high school when we were 14 & 16. After Ryan had to fill out an "application to date my daughter" for my dad, I thought he would run for the hills. Luckily he stuck around and finally asked me to be his girlfriend on January 28, 2012. Now here we are, tying the knot in our tenth year together.

Ryan enlisted the help of my cousin Jacenda to plan a hike to the Stateline Fire Lookout overlooking Lake Tahoe. I brought champagne to cheers to the new year, completely unaware that we would be cheersing to our engagement instead. Next thing you know Ryan is down on one knee asking me to marry him, and *spoiler alert* I said yes.
