Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The ceremony is being held at Presque Isle Park Gazebo - near the breakwall. The reception is being held afterwards at the Northern Center (on NMU's campus).

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Ceremony is outdoors, reception will be indoors.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal

What colors should I avoid?

Answer

Please do not wear white. If you can, avoid champagne so as to not match the bridal party.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

No, not unless specified on your invitation.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

No, we have a professional photographer. Please be present to enjoy the moment with us.

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We have a registry which can be found under the header "Registry" of this website. We are only doing a cash fund because we are living in a Chicago apartment without room to store gifts. We will also have a card box at the reception.

Will there be dinner and drinks?

Answer

Yes, dinner and drinks (beer, wine, and soft drinks) will be provided. A cash bar will also be available.

Are there hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a block of rooms at the Superior Stay hotel. It's a two block walk from the reception. See the "Travel" tab on this website for contact information.

No, parking is available at the venue.
