The Pearl was opened in 1993, aiming to bring a family-friendly staple to downtown La Crosse. Over the years it has evolved, and now The Pearl features a homemade ice cream parlor, confectionery and coffee house, all within Pearl Street West---- a historic walking mall. The Pearl is most famous for our homemade ice cream and waffle cones, made in-house daily at our downtown La Crosse parlor. We use Wisconsin dairy, and make our ice creams in small batches, mixing in premium ingredients like fudge, caramel, nuts and cookies by hand.
This downtown bar street currently holds the Guiness World Record for most bars on one street! It is in the heart of downtown La Crosse. There are great bars, great restaurants, and great stores for shopping! Some of our bar favorites... the Bodega, Del's Bar, the Crow, the Library, Brother's, and La Crosse Bierhaus. Some of my shopping favorites... Touch of Class, Dale's, TJ's, and Curated.
Cruise back in time and explore the Upper Mississippi with us! The Queen offers Friday, Saturday, and Sunday lunch and dinner cruises. The La Crosse Queen is a modern-day replica of the grand river boats that plied the Mississippi River in the early 1900s. Cruising out of La Crosse, Wisconsin, she is one of the few authentic Mississippi River paddlewheel river boats still in operation in the United States today. In keeping with early traditions, she was built with sternwheels that are her only means of propulsion.
