Sightsee in San Francsico

There is so much to do in San Francisco and BART or your car will take you there. A few of our favorite things: Explore Haight-Ashbury & Castro Neighborhoods Chinatown Twin Peaks - great views (and our old 'hood!) Coit Tower Lombard Street Fisherman's Wharf / San Francisco Aquarium Exploratorium Ferry Building Alcatraz (make sure to book this in advance) Golden Gate Park - DeYoung Musuem, Conservatory of Flowers, Botanical Gardens, Bison Paddock, Cal Academy of Sciences, Japanese Tea Garden, have a picnic in the park Golden Gate Bridge Ride the cable car! Muir Woods (north of San Francisco - need to book this in advance) Vantigo offers great tours of SF and the surrounding areas in an old VW Van For a upcoming events in the Bay Area, please visit sf.funcheap.com or timeout.com/san-francisco! **If you are driving into San Francisco, we would strongly recommend not leaving anything visible in your car (even an umbrella). Car break-ins unfortunately happen quite often in San Francisco.

Sightsee in Oakland!

Oakland also has a lot to offer. Wine Tasting

There are a bunch of other wineries in Livermore, such as Cuda Ridge Winery and Murrieta's Well. Two that are within walking distance from 3 Steves are Bent Creek Winery and McGrail Vineyards and Winery. For beer, there's Altamont Beer Works Taproom.

Hiking

There is plenty of hiking in the East Bay! A few of our favorites are: Redwood Regional Park (Recommend entering at the Skyline Gate Staging Area) Mount Diablo State Park Tilden Regional Park A few areas close to Livermore are: Sycamore Grove Park Del Valle Regional Park Brushy Peak Regional Preserve

National Parks

There are a number of National Parks within a two to four hour drive from Livermore. Pinnacles National Park Yosemite National Park Lassen Volcanic National Park Sequoia & King's Canyon National Parks Lake Tahoe (not a national park, but close enough)
