The festivities will begin with the Baraat, a lively procession where family and friends escort the groom (who will be on horseback!) to the wedding, at 9 am at Valley Rock. This will be followed by the wedding ceremony. The muhurtham is the precise moment of marriage, which will take place at 10:30. The ceremony will be followed by lunch. Continental breakfast will also be available starting at 8 am.
Please RSVP by June 10th using the mail-in reply card that came with your wedding invitation. If you are interested in joining a yoga class or hiking excursion on Saturday morning, please let us know by June 24th (see the "Activities" tab for more details). Additionally, if you are interested in utilizing the shuttle between Manhattan and Courtyard Mahwah or Valley Rock on Thursday, please let us know by June 24th (see "Travel & Stay" tab for more details).
Children are invited to the Hindu Ceremony, and we'd love to see them there! We kindly ask that the evening events (i.e., the Welcome Party and Marriage Vows & Reception) be adults-only events. Please reach out if you'd like us to send you recommendations for local babysitters. Thank you for understanding!
