Question

Are you guys still going forward as planned for the wedding? Will you postpone?

Answer

Due to the uncertainty of COVID-19 and the health and safety of our guests our top priority, we originally postponed our wedding celebration from September to May. We know COVID is still at large today, however, we are closely monitoring county restrictions and reopening tiers and will adjust our event and capacity as needed accordingly. In addition, we are hopeful that more vaccines will become available in the next couple of months. Therefore we have decided to continue with our new "postponed" date of May 8, 2021, and hope that we can celebrate with whomever all feels comfortable and able to come! As of right now, we are not making headcount cuts, as we are closely monitoring capacity limits and our venue is a large outdoor event space which allows for adequate social distancing protocols, however, we will inform our guests as soon as we know more. We are so excited to celebrate with you all in May!

Question

What safety measures will you / the venue implement at your wedding due to the current COVID-19 situation?

Answer

The health and safety of our guests is our priority. We will be requiring and providing N95 masks at our ceremony and reception at all times, with masks being allowed off only during eating/drinking at your assigned table. We will also have several stations with hand sanitizer. In addition, our ceremony chairs will be sectioned off in household groups, with 6 feet between. Our reception tables will be by household as well with assigned seating in place. Our entire ceremony and reception will be outdoors in an event space with a max capacity (pre-covid) of 500 people, thus it is a large area that can accommodate social distancing. Please contact Carrie or JC if you would like to know more about the venue or our own COVID-19 and safety protocols which will be implemented.

How and by when do I RSVP?

Answer

Please make sure to RSVP by April 8, 2021. You can RSVP by filling out the online form on this website found in the 'RSVP' tab. Online RSVP is preferred for us to track your responses, but you may also RSVP by texting/calling Carrie at 208-596-1298 or JC at 408-509-9782.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code for the Ceremony and Reception is Cocktail attire preferred. For the guys: slacks, no jeans or shorts! For the ladies: the bride kindly asks that you refrain from wearing white or ivory dresses. Keep in mind that both the ceremony and reception will be held outside. However, California weather in beginning of May is normally quite nice!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm. We recommend that you arrive about 15-30 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the venue?

Answer

Unfortunately there will be no transportation to the venue. However, there are various rental car companies throughout San Jose. There is also plenty of parking at the venue to accomodate.

Can I take pictures and/or post photos of your wedding on social media?

Answer

Please no pictures during the ceremony! We have hired a professional photographer who's job it is to capture this special moment. Don't worry, though, we will be sure to post our photos when we get them back so that you can all see them too! Don't let this discourage you from taking photos before/after the ceremony and at the reception! If you do take any great photos and hope to post them online, please use #It’sAboutToGetLeal so we can see the fun you had on this special day!
