To get to the area of the recommended hotels from EWR using public transit, you will need to download the NJ Transit app and buy a ticket between Newark Airport Station (EWR) and New York Penn Station (NYP). NOTE: Do not confuse either of these stations with Newark Penn Station. You will take the AirTrain from the airport to the Newark Airport Station, where you will activate and scan your NJ Transit ticket in order to exit through the turnstile. NOTE: The cost of the AirTrain is included in the EWR-NYP ticket. Then you will transfer to a New York Penn Station-bound NEC or NJCL train. Once you arrive at New York Penn Station, transfer to a Downtown and Brooklyn-bound A or C train, exiting at Hoyt-Schermerhorn Sts. This trip should take just over an hour and will cost $19.70 per person.

St. Paul's is near Carroll Street station, which is served by the F and G trains. To travel to St. Paul's from the recommended hotels, take the Church Ave-bound G train from Hoyt-Schermerhorn Sts, getting off at Carroll Street.
Travel Note
Our recommended hotels are all between 20 and 30 minutes by foot (1–1.5mi) from St. Paul's. Car services, such as taxis, Lyft, Uber, etc. are also available options. If you're planning on taking a taxi, be sure to call to schedule one ahead of time. The classic yellow cab on the street is a rare sight in Brooklyn. We would NOT recommend driving to St. Paul's, as there is only very limited street parking. The nearest parking garage is a 12 minute walk from St. Paul's.
