Flight and Hotel Details
We will be staying at Sorobon Beach Resort! They are opening up a brand new Boutique Hotel, 3 minutes from the beach resort as well, with a pool, restaurant, bar, and free shuttle service to the beach. It has just opened as of this summer so if the website is still not up and you wish to stay there, please email reservations@sorobonbeachresort.com to book and for more details. We are also getting a group discount, 15% off! When you book your room, email the hotel manager, Louisa, telling her you are with our group: reservations@sorobonbeachresort.com. Feel free to book your stay in other areas of the island, whatever works for you! Sorobon Beach Resort has multiple bedroom options as well if you would like to book with another couple and share a living space! Flights from the US to Bonaire and back are typically only available on Saturdays. When we first traveled to Bonaire, we left from Chicago airport, however there are flights out of Grand Rapids and Detroit, and other connecting flights around the country. With this in mind, we do highly recommended trying to only fly with carryon luggage if possible in case of weather delays! There is a visitor entry tax as well, $75 per person, which you may pay either when entering Bonaire or online when you book your flight.
