Yes, you will need a valid passport to enter Bonaire! Bonaire is a Dutch Caribbean island. However they do take US currency and US debit/credit cards so there is no need to exchange money!
We do recommend renting a car or renting as a group while you are here, as it is about a 15 minute drive to Sorobon Beach Resort from the airport, as well as to the main city of Kralendijk. Rental car information is located on our travel page.
There is a restaurant at each Sorobon Beach Resort and the new Sorobon Boutique Hotel. You may choose to do all inclusive, however there are many good restaurants in the main city of Kralendijk. There is also a great grocery store that is a short distance away to stock your kitchenettes in your rooms for when you are just hanging at the resorts for the day. Store Info: Van Der Tweel 39 Kaya Industria Kralendijk, Caribbean Netherlands
WiFi is free at the resort. You can purchase SIM cards if you’re traveling around the island or international plans from your phone carrier. Sorobon Beach Resort does use euro prong outlets. They do have adapters to borrow but we recommend bringing one in case they run out!
While we absolutely love all of your children, we kindly ask that this be a child free week long celebration!
