Flight
Flying into the Cancun airport is the easiest way to get to the Yucatan Peninsula. For guests traveling from Southern California, we recommend flying out of the Tijuana airport. You will use the CBX pedestrian bridge that directly connects the Tijuana airport and the US. It is honestly super convenient and the price difference when flying domestic can be significant.
Travel Note
Rideshares have only recently become accessible in this region and it can be difficult to navigate upon arriving at the airport. Also, the hustle is real and tourists are the primary targets, so avoid being overwhelmed by the hoards of people trying to sell you an airport transfer. We recommend booking transportation in advance or opting for a cab. Most larger resorts provide a transportation service.
