Folly Beach
This is a longer drive from Mount Pleasant, but it is our favorite beach! It has great shops and local dining. Free street parking is available. Check out Chico Feo - great bar with the coolest vibe! We also like going to Bowen's Island for seafood.
Sullivan's Island Beach
A beautiful beach with a charming main strip, just 12 minutes from the wedding venue. It’s easy to reach by Uber or car, with plenty of free street parking available. On windy days, it’s the perfect spot to watch kiteboarders in action. For a memorable sunset dinner with waterfront views, we recommend The Boathouse at Breach Inlet.
Shem Creek
Shem Creek is a premier waterfront destination in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. It has great restaurants and nightlife. It is also an amazing sort for watching dolphins, paddle boarding, and kayaking!
Mount Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park
Memorial Waterfront Park is a beautiful park with scenic views and a convenient place to park if you’re planning on doing the bridge walk. A dedicated pedestrian and bike path runs along the south side of the bridge, offering sweeping views of Charleston Harbor and an ideal spot to catch sunrise or sunset.
King Street
If you love shopping, dining, and drinks, King Street in historic downtown Charleston is the place to go.
Charleston City Market
A great local artisan market in downtown Charleston! The popular brunch spot, Magnolias, is within walking distance, and the Pineapple Fountain at Joe Riley Waterfront Park is nearby if you want to take a stroll.
South Carolina Aquarium
