FAQs

Question

How should I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, go to the RSVP page on this website. Please submit your RSVP by 8/6/26 so we can plan accordingly!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM. Guests are kindly asked to arrive 15 minutes early. Please refer to the “Schedule” tab for additional details regarding the wedding, cocktail hour, and reception timeline.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal—think of it as an excuse to dress up! Men should wear a suit and tie. Women are encouraged to wear a midi- to full-length dress or a pantsuit. Please note that the bridesmaids will be wearing various shades of green, and we kindly ask guests to avoid wearing white. If you plan to wear high heels, consider opting for a block heel, as the ceremony will take place on a grass lawn and the cocktail hour on a brick patio.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can accommodate all our guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your children, we have decided to make our wedding an adults-only event. We appreciate your understanding and hope you can join us in celebrating.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Please visit the “Travel” page for accommodation details! We’ve reserved two hotel blocks within walking distance of the venue, along with a third, more affordable option just a short drive away. Since the venue is centrally located in Charleston, there are plenty of nearby places to stay if you prefer to book outside of the hotel blocks.

Question

Will transportation be provided to and from the wedding?

Answer

We are arranging transportation from the wedding to our after party on Shem Creek. However, we ask that you provide your own transportation to the wedding and arrange your own ride home afterward — whether you’re departing after the reception or following the after party. Please plan ahead and remember — no drinking and driving.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be free on-site parking available at Harborside East.

Question

What are food stations?

Answer

Food stations are a fun, interactive way to enjoy a variety of dishes throughout the evening. Instead of one large buffet, we’ve arranged several stations around the reception, each offering small, flavorful bites. Guests are welcome to visit any station at any time, sample a little of everything, and return for favorites. This setup makes it easy to mingle, move around, and enjoy delicious food.

Question

What is on the menu?

Answer

Please see the "Schedule" page for a quick summary of the menu.

Question

If I have a food allergy and/or a dietary restriction, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we are happy to accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions! Please ensure you let us know in advance.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We are so grateful for your love and support — no gifts are necessary. Celebrating with you is more than enough, but if you would like registry details, please visit our “Registry” page.
