The reception includes open bar, plated dinner and dessert followed by DJ and dancing. Please be aware that AZ Drunk Driving laws are among the toughest in the country. Please plan on a designated driver, Uber or other transportation if you plan on drinking alcohol – we don’t want our guests spending the night in Scottsdale jail (which is the minimum first offense sentence in our state) The Cochise Geronimo Clubhouse is inside Desert Mountain Golf Club. Use the full address for GPS. More specific directions are on our FAQ Page. Please note: You want to enter through the main entrance to Desert Mountain (one mile east of Pima on Cave Creek Road at Desert Mtn Pkwy). The driver will be required to show a valid Driver’s License so have that handy for security.

Take 101 North to the Princess Drive/Pima Road exit (Exit #36) – Note the first Pima Road exit is Pima/90th street that is NOT the exit to take. Bear right at bottom of off ramp (this now turns into Pima /road Continue North on Pima Road (Approx 13 miles) to stop sign- Cave Creek Road Go right on Cave Creek Road Desert Mountain entrance is approximately ¾ mile on left side (sometimes GPS systems take you to the construction entrance which is further down Cave Creek Road but you will not be able to get in at that entrance) Stop at security and tell them you are here for the Reese/Venezia Reception. They will verify that your name is on the list. The driver will be required to show photo ID. Once through the gate, proceed up Desert Mountain Parkway You will go straight on Desert Mountain Parkway for approximately 4.5 miles You will turn left on E Rockaway Hills Dr – there should be signage showing you where to turn – follow the road to the Cochise Geronimo Clubhouse. We are doing a small, private ceremony earlier in the week. We understand that it may be disappointing to not witness our vows, so we will be viewing a video of our ceremony on a loop throughout the night of the reception in the bar area.
