Claudia Reh

Maid of Honor

I met Lauren when I first came out of the womb. Lauren was not impressed with me nor did she like the fact that attention would be shared between the both of us. With us being sisters it would be an understatement to say Lauren and I have been through (put each other through) a lot over the years but I am oh so proud to now be the maid to her honor just like old times. And as always wish Nick the best of luck with her!

Kelli Anniken

Bridesmaid

My name is Kelli Anneken I have the honor and privilege of standing next to Lauren on her wedding day! Lauren and I have been best friends since 6th grade and through the years our friendship has only grown deeper! I am so excited for Nick & Lauren to become one and truly start their lives together! They are an amazing couple & great friends and I feel so blessed to be able to cheer them on as they walk into marriage!

With having Lauren as my very first roommate in college- it's safe to say I know her on a bit of a different level. Sharing a small space with a friend allows you to see who they are when "no one is looking". I'm so thankful to have spent those years in our early 20's together. Lauren always kept me grounded and reminded me of the beauty in the small things & also the fabulous things in life. I am SO very happy for Lauren & Nick and I cannot wait for your forever to start! You are an amazing match together and I cannot wait for our future memories together!

Lauren and I started working together at Fifth Third Bank. Before long we knew everything about each other. Lauren asked what I thought about online dating apps and I was completely supportive of her using them. It wasn’t too long before she found Nick’s profile! Nick asked Lauren to get coffee and I recommended Coffee Emporium. I failed to mention was that there are 2 locations..we both laughed pretty hard when she was telling me how they showed up to separate locations first before finally meeting. I am so excited for the two of them to be tying the knot and can’t wait to be a part of their special day!

A few Chicago trips and one “big move” later, it feels like I’ve known Lauren for a lifetime! Once Nick and Lauren moved to Chicago, we had the chance to get to know each other quickly. In that short time, Lauren has of course turned me into an avid “cross-stitcher”…She encouraged me to start a Christmas stocking as my second project ever (IYKYK). I appreciate Lauren’s constant positivity, friendship, and endless love for wine, cheese, and specialty cocktails. I can’t wait to spend this year celebrating Nick and Lauren!

Sometimes friendships just "click". All it took was a little whiskey and an impromptu happy hour in the mailroom to know that I had made a friend for life. I've known Lauren since November 2019, and over the course of many lunches in our "office", coffee breaks, and happy hours, she has earned many titles in my life: confidant, cheerleader, fashionista, nutritionist, craft queen, therapist, and, most importantly, true & genuine friend. I'm so honored to be a part of the bridal party and I can't wait to celebrate Nick and Lauren's union as Mr. & Mrs. Lamb!

While I’m not her cousin by blood but by marriage, I feel as if I’ve known Lauren for forever. She is the younger sister I’ve always wished for. She is such a beautiful soul and to know her is to love her. The way she is able to be true to herself at all times is one of the things that I really admire about her. We always joke that my daughter Lucy, who is one of the flower girls is a little Lauren. They both are fierce and feisty and have the biggest hearts. I am beyond grateful to know such an amazing soul that is Lauren and to be a part of her and Nick’s wedding day is something that I will always cherish.

I met Lauren during our freshman year at EKU. One day during rush, Lauren was upset she didn’t get her first pick. Knowing that same feeling, I reached out letting her know it’s okay and that I didn’t get my 1st choice either. She turned to me and yelled, “WOULD YOU JUST GO AWAY!” Fast forward a few months I was invited to the aquarium with a group of friends.I realized Lauren would be there & remembered our encounter from a few months back. She remembered me and couldn’t believe that she acted like that! From that day on we’ve been inseparable. She’s the constant to all the chaos and one of my dearest friends. I’m so grateful for that day and the bond it created between us!

Jared Lamb

Best Man

I've known Nick for a while now, well I guess you could say my whole life! Being Nick's taller, better looking and more athletic younger brother has its perks. Some of these include blaming Nick anytime our parents caught us doing wrong. Like the time we were sneaking out of bed because I forgot to take my "Medicine" (Mom and Dad still don't believe our story) Or even the time I gave him a bloody nose on the bus and he told the principle "it just started bleeding" to cover for me so I didn't get in trouble. There are also a few negatives..... But we will save those for the speech! Congratulations Nick & Lauren - Welcome to the Family!

Jacob Lamb

Best Man

Being Nick's youngest brother, I always looked up to him except when he forced Jared and I to run football drills in the backyard to no end or conned us into wasting our money on the newest video game to his advantage. Despite all that, he turned out to be a pretty decent older brother. To be honest Lauren could tell our first meeting of one another in better detail based on the fact I was drunk and dressed like a Santa at a bar crawl. All I remember is her telling me I took off on a scooter in a Santa suit... During our years in Cincinnati, I was fortunate enough to watch Nick and Lauren's love strengthen and grow into what we all see today and truly couldn't ask for a better sister in law and wife to my brother! Let's start the party!

I will always remember my very first cross country race. I was incredibly nervous & unsure as to what to expect. Lauren, having ran in high school, was by far my biggest fan I had in the audience. She actually ran the final stretch of the race with me to keep me going as hard as I could through the finish. Sometimes I see Lauren more as a parent than a sister, but I love her nonetheless. I know she is only looking out for what's best for me and keeping me from doing something stupid. I am so incredibly proud of my sister. I can only wish to someday be like her. She has been such a great role model for me. She is one of the hardest working people I know and someone you’d definitely want on your side in any conflict at all. I love her so much & wish her & Nick the very best life together.

Similar to his approach with Lauren, Nick forced himself into my life over the internet. After weeks of denying his friend request, he mustered up the courage to slide into my DM’s. That’s when I learned he would be my freshman college roommate… Nick hasn’t always been the cultured gentleman Lauren has come to know so dearly. There have been several moments & experiences his college buddies had to endure, such as his D6 football career stories, his coral necklace that he wore, or all the pictures he forced us to take as he lugged his digital camera to parties. Nick has always had a smile on his face & has been an extremely stable & loyal friend. His happiness is at an all-time high when he is with Lauren & I know he will bring these qualities to his marriage. I can't wait to celebrate!

I can’t even remember meeting Nick, We joined our fraternity at the same time & been friends ever since. After college we lived across the street from each other & together got into plenty of shenanigans but could always count on Nick when I needed. Lauren came along & it became the three of us. We were the three best friends anybody could have. Sad when they moved to Chicago & left me behind, I may have even cried a little. But I knew that it was their dream to live & work in Chicago so I can’t blame them. Lauren got the final approval from me when she, Nick, & myself all had stay the night in the same cottage bed together. It’s a long story... but after that night I knew they were meant to be & here we are. Can’t wait to see them continue this journey of life together! Love you both!

From the playground to adulting, I have known Nick nearly my entire life. Whether we were playing knockout in the barn, tending to your near annual injuries, or visiting each other from states away, we seem to pick up where we left off. I will forever be grateful for always being welcomed into your home as family. As we’ve grown, you have never lost your grit and tenacity for self improvement causing those around you to strive for better. From the few times I’ve met Lauren, it is evident she shares many of these same qualities marking a perfect pair. I cannot wait to celebrate with you guys and continue to watch your love for each other grow.

I met Nick as a freshman at UC. We joined the same fraternity & quickly became close friends over our shared love of all things UC. I was neighbors to Nick during college as well as post-grad. We lived in Cincinnati for years & made a lot of great memories over movie nights, ski trips, SantaCon & nights at Mr. Pitiful’s. After Nick & Lauren had been dating a few months, I remember one particular night when a group of us were all hanging out having a few drinks. Our conversation turned to discussing the future & Nick confided to us that Lauren was the one! After seeing how happy Lauren makes him, I knew that the two of them were perfect for each other. I'm thankful to be a part of their special day & can’t wait to celebrate these two great people. Congrats to the future Mr. & Mrs. Lamb!

I met Nick freshman year of college. A small town guy with high hopes and dreams of becoming a world renowned banker one day. Little did he know those hopes and dreams were about to be put on hold for the next 5 years of college (most people graduate in 4, it took all of us 5!). We took him under our wing as it was hard for him to make a ton of friends, but we ended up liking the guy and we have remained closed friends to this day. Years of living together and seeing Nick mature into the man Lauren has grown to know has been a pleasure to watch. He has always been a loyal and charismatic friend that I am happy to have in my life. I wish you both a very happy and loving relationship and can not wait to celebrate the two of you! Cheers.
