We all have that one person who comes into our lives and just fit perfectly! Well, Sunny (I call her my Sunshine) is just that "peace" of my puzzle. With only knowing her for a short period of time, it seems like forever. She is always there when I need her and keeps me grounded. (She also keeps me busy with God's work!) Oh yeah, and we're birthday twins. Yes, we were both born on the best day next to Jesus' birthday, February 12th! I knew there was a reason we connected so well.

We started out as cheer sisters at Avondale Middle School and we've grown to become SO much more! Jaala has been there through the hurt, pain and struggles of bad relationships, drunk nights and mental breakdowns. She keeps me in line and gives me a reality check when I need it. But most importantly, THIS WOMAN PRAYS FOR ME! She has no clue how much my life has changed and evolved because of her. Fortunately and prayerfully, we've stayed down and plan to remain lifetime sisters!

Whenever needed, she’s sure to be there and is always certain to show up no matter how far away she is. There’s no way this day could be complete enjoyed without her presence.

We began this friendship journey as boss and employee. I admit that I was a little intimidated by the strength of this woman, but when the walls came down, we became the best of friends. We've traveled together, partied together, coached cheerleading together (I forced this on her) and been through so many ups and downs together. I couldn't celebrate this special day without my "Honey B".

Malika was brought into my life through Jaala and I'm so grateful for this relationship, friendship and sisterhood! This is my peace, my common sense, my motherly advisor and my most level headed friend lol. Malika brings so much peace and light to any situation and it's no surprise that we instantly bonded because we are both Aquarius women and we've been through some similar situations. Malika gave me my first honorary nephew, Keno, and has shown me so many things from how to be a nurturing mother to how to grow a beautiful backyard garden!
