We’re getting married

THE UNION OF REGINIA & GORDON It was an overcast Sunday morning in the city of Santa Clarita, California, during the month of March in the year 2019, when two individuals experienced the eclipse. After a month of conversing and sharing, it was decided that the theoretical be applied to the practical, and thus the experiment began. The cheesecake factory was the destination that was agreed upon; however, we met in front of Lucille’s Barbecue, because one was directionally challenged. The distress signals were received, and reassurance was extended to the damsel in distress! As her potential knight approached her, he was armed with a bouquet of yellow roses as she was observing his demeanor. She later expressed how he was tall, carried himself well, and walked with a purpose; to imply that he was “Aight.” Meanwhile, the vision of the knight reflected a cautious, yet beautiful, innocent damsel that should never be left alone. As the two approached one another and greeted each other with a kiss, the damsel took her flowers and secured them in her vehicle. As the knight extended the invitation to the damsel to get into his car so they could arrive at the original destination, the knight was confronted with a slight dose of hesitation. The hesitation came in the form of every crime show on TV; 20/20, the First 48 hrs., CSI, how to commit murder and get away with it. The damsel made it very clear that her family knew where she was, and the name of the person she was to meet. The knight attempted to reassure her that she was in good hands, better than All-State. As they drove around the block, the knight got out and opened the damsel’s door and said; Dang, that wasn’t so bad! The damsel feeling more comfortable went into a “Barbara Walter’s” explanation of clarification of how women should not be so trusting and naïve. The knight turned off the volume and extended his hand and subliminally implied; Take my hand and follow me! When this couple entered the eating establishment, they were ironically treated with royalty. They were given a booth, in the corner, in the back where they were almost hidden out of sight. As the waiter proceeded to take their orders, the Knight said that this was a special occasion, and that he had a special announcement to make, and wanted to gain everyone’s attention! The damsel was very cautious and was giving out signals as to; what did I get myself into. The damsel became curious as well as experiencing an increase in her anxiety level. The knight said to his damsel, “I am going to propose to you right here and right now” The damsel squirmed and plead; don’t you dare…and quickly decided to go to the restroom to relieve herself. On October 28, 2023 @ approximately 8:52 pm; 4 years 7 months later, the Knight got down on one knee and extended his hand bearing a diamond ring, and asked a sacred question; Will you Reginia Darnell marry me? Her response was; you really going to push this through? Johnny Cochran rose up out of the grave and said, “Woman answer the question, If the ring does not fit, then the proposal is not legit” she rose up with tears rolling down her face and said; Yes, I will marry you! The knight slipped the ring on her finger, and held her tight! And now the experiment is complete, Love is blind…but not stupid! I love you GiGi!
