Travel Note
Parking At Emerald Lake Lodge
Take the Trans Canada Highway heading west towards Field and Golden, BC. The turnoff to Emerald Lake Lodge is located 1km west of Field, BC. Follow the road for 8 km until you see a sign that says ‘Overnight Guest Parking.’ Turn left into the parking lot. In the parking lot is a cabin. Use the telephone in the cabin to call our front desk. A shuttle will be sent to pick you up and bring you to the main lodge.
Flight
Calgary International Airport (YYC)
The closest airport is Calgary International Airport (YYC). We recommend renting a car at the airport to travel from Calgary to Banff and have transportation available throughout the weekend.
Rental Car
Car Rental
Uber, Lyft, and other ride-sharing services are NOT available in Banff. Therefore, we strongly encourage guests to rent vehicles so that you can enjoy all that the Banff area has to offer. While buses and public transportation are available, they have a limited range.
