At the end of 2012, we were introduced by mutual friends. We began spending more time together, and Carla made the first move to make things official just after Christmas. We spent the early days of our relationship spending time together with friends, passing notes in homeroom, going to the movies, and even held the same after-school job. Our favorite way to spend time together, however, was with trips to Disneyland; between sampling all the snacks, learning to draw our favorite characters, queuing for our favorite rides (repeatedly), many of our most memorable moments were spent understanding why it’s called “The Happiest Place on Earth.”

Regan surprised Carla with a proposal in the Fall of 2023. Over the course of a couple weeks, she planned a series of our favorite Fall activities, including apple picking, pumpkin patching, and enjoying the colorful foliage, and she brought the ring along for stealthy photos to each event. Though the day that Carla was finally going to see the ring was a little rainy, she proposed while we took photos in a local park. We decided we wanted to have a private ceremony on November 3rd with the plan to celebrate with our loved ones in the near future.

We are so very excited that the time has finally come to celebrate our marriage with you this Spring! We may have taken our time in getting to this point, but that has made us much more reflective of our time together and extremely grateful to share this experience with you, our closest family and friends. We hope you can join us on May 25, 2025 for our renewal of vows, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing!
