We’re getting married!

We met while working at Wells Fargo in San Marcos. Riley had been working at the Texas State branch for a few months when she was transferred to the downtown location, where Reese was already a banker. She was dreading the transfer, but it turned out to be the best thing that could have happened because that’s where she met the love of her life. We got along right away and realized we connected on a lot of the same things, so it didn’t take long before we started hanging out outside of work. What started as an easy friendship quickly became something more special than either of us expected. After spending more time together, we went to a rage room one day and then out for pizza. A few days later, we were at a pool party with friends, stayed up talking until sunrise, and shared our first kiss. From that point on, we were inseparable. Two years later, that same energy hasn’t changed. We love watching reality TV together, trying new foods, and finding new places to explore. We’ve always understood each other effortlessly, and being together has always felt easy. In January 2025, Reese proposed on Mt. Bonnell in Austin during what was supposed to be a photoshoot for a friend’s portfolio. Before heading up there, we stopped at Madewell because Reese had a free jeans coupon and wanted to use it. He was calm and casual the whole day, which completely threw Riley off. When he got down on one knee overlooking Lake Austin, it was the best kind of surprise. It was thoughtful, funny, and completely us.
