Maid of Honor
Erin & I met at Saint Martins University where she roomed across from me in the dorms. I was so anxious to meet other people (outside the volleyball team) that I basically forced her to be friends with me. Thankfully Erin’s kind heart was not overwhelmed by my personality and the next thing I knew we were best friends. For anyone who knows Erin knows how patient, kind, genuine, and maybe a little stubborn, she is. She often was the angel sitting on my shoulder guiding me through our ealy "adult" years. She is someone you can count on and is always down to binge on Disney movies and mac & cheese. Be sure to quiz her Disney skills!
Best Man
Kevin "Grizzy" Graybill and I first met in our early middle school days over a pair of dirty khakis in the 6th grade. Our relationship developed from our days of sunbathing poolside, roaming the streets of Walla Walla, smashing Taco Bell, prank calls (or MSN), and being force fed Turkey sandwiches by Cindy. Kevin has always been reliable and trustworthy. He is a man of integrity and honesty, who has a heart of gold. Kevin is one of the funniest guys around; he tells stories, through real-life experiences and has a plethora of accents that he can knock out of the park that develop in to humorous tales. Recently, Kevin has taken his passion for music and has turned it into a career in San Luis Obispo, in the Central Coast region of California. If you are in that area, check him out!
Bridesmaid
Jordan is my longest friend dating back to 92 when we ruled our daycare. We grew up with our familes being close, so I considered Jo more of a sister than a friend. It is rare these days to have a friendship like ours. We have gone from diapers to singing Spice Girls which eventually upgraded to Ludacris and Snoop Dogg (Thank you, Zivin). From devoting our lives to soccer to painting the town of Seattle Red. On a serious note, Jordan grew into a beautiful & loyal friend. Jordan's personality lights up a room and she is down for whatever adventure comes your way. I have always admired her zest for life and the love she shares with everyone around. You will find Jordan and her husband, Sal, in Silverdale chasing their daughter, Kennedy, around and booming all the "cheers".
Best Man
We shared a bedroom growing up on Bonsella Street. In that bedroom, Aaron developed some toughness, like having his head tossed through a storm window (Sorry Mom and Dad). I have had the pleasure of being around him his entire life. Our relationship started out on a great note. I asked mom to leave him at the hospital and trade him in for a toy truck. At a young age, Aaron would join me in playing all sorts of games around the street or at Menlo Park. Birth doesn't make people brothers, it may make them siblings, but brotherhood is something that you have to work at. One of the greatest joys in my life has been watching Aaron grow up and after years of rough play, becoming good friends. You can find Aaron taggin' wild steelhead in the Portland area tributaries.
Bridesmaid
Steph and I met at EWU playing club Volleyball. Steph has to be one of the sweetest people I have ever have the pleasure of knowing. The first time I met her she seemed shy but as soon as we got to know each other she quickly came out of her shell. Just ask her about dancing in the middle of a dance circle in Dallas. Steph's love for family & friends is infectious. She encourages others to never stop learning and her determantion to always better herself is contagious to everyone around her. She will be the first one out on the dance floor to get the party going !
Groomsman
Just like I was with Aaron, Michael was not very enthusiastic about me coming home from the hospital with Mom and Dad. However, as time went on, Michael became my interpreter when I was just a young buck that spoke my own language. Brothers have a keen understanding as to who each other is. Mike definitley had an understanding for me. I must shout Mike out for driving me around in one of the dopest 1990's Dodge Caravans around. Those were some memories (slamming on the break and tossing me into the windshield, again, sorrry Mom and Dad). Mike, like our mother, enjoys entertaining people. He is always willing to host or help host a party and share his love for food.
Bridesmaid
Lauren and I met in High School. We rolled around with a similar friend group but I feel our bond got a lot stronger in our "young adult" years. Lauren was always the first person I called whether it was to have a nice dinner or grab drinks & go dancing. She too, is always up for any adventure that comes her way, even if it is snow shoeing up a mountain not feeling our best. Lauren is the most compassionate human and she always puts others before herself. I have to say that it is her caring nature and passion for life has to be what I love most about her. She is always someone you can count on to put a smile on your face or go to for honest advise. Please, PLEASE challenge her to a dance off (only if you're ready to get schooled)
Groomsman
Spence, the prettiest man around. We first met at Elks Hoop Shoot Free throw competition; we had to go extra shots to move on to the regional round. Ubeknownst to us, that was the start of a long relationship. We both went from Walla Walla to the Harvard of the West, THE University of Montana, in the Fall of 2004 and many road trips to and from WW and Missoula ensued. Spence is a loyal guy. He does not shy away from being honest with you, even when you do not want to hear it (now he is not always right, let's not give him too much). With the loyalty comes his dependability; he is always available and makes times for people. Spence and I have many memories together. We have had seen each other through ups and downs, seen our little brothers grow up and become good friends themselves.
Bridesmaid
Kathy and I first met when I went to visit EWU to look for apartments. We met through mutual friends and drunkenly at the Rugby house, we decided to be roommates. Kathy and I love to have a good time, and boy do we have some of the memories to prove it. Some of which we may or may not remember. Kathy became someone who I could always count and would help me through difficult times. She taught me how to work hard yet not take yourself too seriously. Kathy's loving personality o anyone she meets and her And above all she was the one that encouraged me to pursue things with Craig, THANK YOU. Kathy and her husband, Jesse, live in Spokane with their new baby, Genevieve. They keep busy with their small slue of animals.
Groomsman
Brett, Big Red, as he is affectionately known as. First time I saw Brett, was at a two-a-days practice at THE University of Montana. It was over 90 degrees and he was wearing a winter coat with fur on the hood. Oh boy, did that keep us all entertained. Speaking of entertaining, Brett is known to have a good time, like real good time. We enjoy our social interactions, he will have plenty of moments to keep the conversation fun and engaging, I mean, he can quote just about any movie that has ever been made. He is also the most adventurous person I know. I have not heard him say "No" to any escapade. Brett has a warm heart, purposely puts others in front of himself, and is incredibly passionate. You can find Brett in Denver, CO with his wife and Annie and pup, Big Ern!
Bridesmaid
Aly was one of my first friends in Missoula. We bonded over our love for games, fried pickles and “sneaking off” to tequila shots (Rico and Craig caught us every time). We got really close when we both were slinging drinks at the Mo Club for our version of "Woman's Wednesdays". During that time I learned so much about her compassion for children in hard situations, her love for her friends and family, and also watch her kick ass business come to life. GO HYPE HOUSE! Aly is a solid friend to have in your corner and I’m so lucky for her in mine. By the time the wedding comes around, her and her husband, Rico, will have a new born joining the Suazo clan and we couldn’t be more excited for them.
Groomsman
Rico and I have known each other since he started patrolling the streets of Missoula in 2007, and not because I was a bandit. Rico serves with a compassionate and genuine heart to not only our community, but with his family and friends as well. Rico is one of the most level headed people around. He is low-key, but never afraid to have some Pendleton in his glass. We enjoy hitting spin class together and we are usually the odds one out as spin class is generally populated by ladies. We also do a good job of date night; taking Reese and Aly out for dinner and watching them sneak off to take shots of tequilla when they don't think we know what is developing.
Groomsman
Tommy "Gunz" Martin and I go back to the fall of 2004 when we first stepped foot onto THE University of Montana as Redshirts. Tom was a LB and ST specialist for the Griz. Tom is from Columbus, MT where he dominated the academic and extra-curricular scene. Being from a small town with blue collar work ethic, Tom has some key attributes drilled into him. He is small town friendly, he is laid back, he is incredibly loyal, and he is very empathetic. If you didn't know he was from a small town, here are some key give aways: he bedazzles with his line dance, he has been seen driving 65 MPH in two feet of snow during a blizzard, and I have been with him and seen him offer people assitance at ACE. You can find Gunz in Billings, MT doing his best to get people access to their mineral rights.
Officiant
Spence and I met after college. He was living in Missoula and knew one my roommates at the time, Lilly, from the Seattle area. We quickly became good buddies as he is such a personable person with a great zest for life. Big Spence is the man with the personality. There is no one else that we would rather have to be our officiant. With his personality and his orating skills, he is surely to put on a show. Spence is generous and kind; purposely and proactively puts people first. Spence is a man of many talents. Spence and his wife, Louise, currently run their ranch and farm in Eureka, NV. They produce some of the finest meat in all of the west. He will get your linked up with some Mangalista and Mulefoot meat.
