Hallie and Reegan’s friendship began in 5th grade when Reegan moved to a new elementary school. Their bond grew stronger in 6th grade as they both started playing the French horn and joined the Future Problem Solving team. By 8th and 9th grade, they were inseparable, sharing many of the same classes, performing French horn quintets in band, and attending every school dance together throughout high school. Even after heading to different colleges, they kept in touch, ensuring their friendship stayed strong. After graduation, fate brought them back together when Hallie moved to Minneapolis, where Reegan lives, and they both started their first "big girl" jobs on the same day! Now, Hallie and Reegan are each other’s go-to person for weekly Bachelor nights, puppy playdates, and heartfelt vent sessions. Reegan is endlessly grateful to have such an incredible friend like Hallie by her side through every chapter of life!

Cassie and Reegan first met during their sophomore year of high school when Cassie moved to Reegan’s school, and they had English class together. They quickly bonded over their shared love for adventure and travel, with Cassie always encouraging Reegan to try new things. They spent many weekends exploring parks and rollerblading (even in freezing temperatures!). The summer after high school, they embarked on an unforgettable trip to Europe, spending time with Cassie’s family in Germany and exploring Barcelona on their own. It was Reegan’s first (and only) trip outside the U.S., and it remains one of her most cherished memories. During college, though they were a few hours apart, they visited each other often. Now, despite living in different states, their friendship remains strong through frequent FaceTime calls. Reegan can’t wait to visit Cassie in her new home in Arlington, VA, this spring!

Maddie and Reegan met during their first week at Iowa State as part of the same peer mentor group for Elementary Education. Living in the same area on campus, they quickly became close friends, sharing meals at the dining center almost every day. One of Reegan’s favorite college memories is spending spring break in Chicago with Maddie and her family. Throughout their time at Iowa State, their friendship grew stronger over countless Friday nights making homemade pizzas, playing games, and talking about life. Even now, they remain close, spending hours catching up whenever they see each other, exchanging relatable stories about their experiences as teachers. Talking to Maddie is always easy and never fails to make Reegan’s day better.

Ally and Reegan have been friends for nearly 20 years, ever since Ally moved to Reegan’s old neighborhood. They spent their childhood summers climbing trees, running around the neighborhood, and playing in the nearby creek. Reegan even taught Ally how to ride a bike! Their friendship was filled with sleepovers and adventures, and they stayed close even after Reegan moved to a new town. Some of their favorite memories include trips with Ally’s grandparents, where they explored new states and RV parks on bikes, canoes, and kayaks—and, of course, argued over UNO. For the sake of their friendship, though, they now steer clear of double kayaks and heated UNO games! Ally is the younger sister that Reegan always wanted.

Ahmed and Trevor met during their Sophomore year of college at Iowa State where they became fraternity brothers, unofficial roomies, and bonded over their love of music (The Weeknd & NAV). Ahmed has always been a great friend to talk to about the realities of life. He has helped Trevor through thick and thin and will always be considered one of Trevor's closest friends.
Aidan Mackay

Aidan and Trevor met in middle school while Trevor was playing hockey with Aidan's brother Garrett. They bonded over their shared interest in Hip hop, video games, and movies. They remained close during high school while Aidan was in Switzerland and became roommates their Freshman year of college at Iowa State and clearly, are still good friends today.

Trevor was introduced to Nick "Swanny" Swanberg by Aidan in middle school. They had shared interest in gaming, and built gaming PC's around the same time to play games like Counter-strike, TF2 and Overwatch together. They still connect almost every day.
