Please let us know if you can or cannot make it by THURSDAY, JANUARY 2! If you cannot make it, you will be missed! We would love to have you there but understand if you cannot attend. Please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no" so we may plan accordingly.
Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors.
Considering it's February... in California... we're really not sure! Though climate change has brought both temps in the high 80s and downpours on this weekend over the years, you can probably expect crisp, dry weather in the mid- to high-60s in both Westminster and Anaheim (median temps of 68 and 66, respectively). [Christie researched and graphed the historical weather in Westminster and Anaheim (are you surprised?) to determine this, but you should probably consult your local meteorologist or Farmers' Almanac if you're really concerned.]
Please plan to arrive about fifteen minutes prior to the ceremony (or around 1:45 pm). There will be plenty of seating inside the church, but arriving early will give you ample time to score a prime view!
The wedding will be celebrated with a Catholic Mass and exchanging of vows. The ceremony will last approximately an hour. There will be sitting, standing, sitting (again), (more) standing, some kneeling, praying, and blessing. Please participate as much as you feel comfortable.
Absolutely! We would love if all of our guests can be in attendance. We respect the diverse cultures, lifestyles, and faiths (or lack thereof) of each of our guests. We simply want you to be there to celebrate in our union.
The reception will be held at Mon Amour Banquet in Anaheim. It's a straight <6mi shot north of the ceremony. Cocktail hour will start promptly at 5:45 pm. If you want a formal photo with Christmas (CHRISTie and thoMAS get it??), please be sure to arrive during the cocktail hour!
Light appetizers will be served during cocktail hour. Dinner will be served family style over many many (many) courses. The courses are varied and include seafood, chicken, beef, and pork. If Tom thinks there will be plenty of food, rest assured you will not be wanting. Be prepared to leave stuffed!! We hope that the various cuisines will suit your needs, but should you have a severe dietary restriction, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.
We are happy to say the FULL bar will be hosted... all... night... long (or until we run out)! Please make sure to bring your ID :)
We hope our wedding will be a fun excuse to dress up, but please wear whatever is comfortable for you. Most guests will likely be wearing suits (or shirt & tie) and dressy/cocktail attire to both the ceremony and reception. Please be mindful that the ceremony will be held at a place of worship, but some guests prefer to change into more dressy, party- and dance-friendly attire for the reception.
Yes! Please let us know if your child(ren) will be in tow.
Parking is plentiful and free at both the ceremony and reception sites. Ceremony parking is available directly adjacent to the church as well as at the lot directly across from the church (at the NW corner). The reception site is located in the corner of a shopping center. With the exception of the banquet hall, most businesses will be closed for the evening and therefore there will be ample parking.
Yes! We have reserved a block of rooms at the Courtyard Marriott. Please see the "Hotels" tab for details.
We will have a game or other way of randomizing who can take home centerpieces. Our MC will announce this at the reception!
That's the plan! A non-hosted afterparty is TBA.
Unfortunately, no. Please do not leave any cars overnight.
Of course! We simply ask you to be mindful of our photographers and videographers and to pay appropriate respect during the wedding ceremony itself. Please use our wedding hashtag #ReedPhamilyFusion so that we can see Christie's ugly cry and Tom's power slide later!
We're excited you're excited! Please text Christie (714.504.0679) or Tom (310.503.3273) directly if you have additional questions. But preferably not on the wedding day lol.
