What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There are no Ubers or Lyfts that service our venue's location. We do not want anyone drinking and driving. Please plan accordingly and have a designated driver to get back to your room at the end of the night or schedule a taxi. If you leave your car at the venue it MUST be removed by 8am the next day. Please schedule a taxi if you plan on drinking at the wedding and have no designated driver. There are no Ubers or lifts that service our venue late at night. Hood River is a small town. Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal Garden Attire. The ceremony will be outside on the lawn. There is a large covered pavilion where the reception tables and dance floor will be set up. Formal Garden Attire is still formal, but it is a fun opportunity to play with colors or prints. Men will wear suits and women will wear floor length or above the knee dresses and pant suits. The color palette will be muted pastels, nothing dark and moody or bright and loud. Feel free to embrace colors like mauve, moss, sage, blush, taupe, champagne, sienna, light slate grey, etc. and patterns like florals and plaid. October in Hood River may be beautiful and sunny but it could rain and cool down in the evening.

Will there be an after party?

Answer

The reception at The Orchard will end precisely at 9:30pm. We are looking into a location to continue the party after we leave the venue. Be on the lookout for that information closer to our wedding date.
