Omni New Haven Hotel at Yale
We've reserved a limited number of rooms at the OMNI for our wedding. We'll be staying here Friday through Sunday. The after-party following the wedding reception will take place on the top floor of the Omni, so we highly recommend you book here if you know you'll be up late with us! We'll arrange for a shuttle to and from Lighthouse Point Park where the ceremony and reception will occur. The Omni offers parking (for an additional cost) and spa services if you need some post-travel relaxation.

Bradley International Airport
Bradley International Airport is approximately 50 miles from New Haven and would take about 55 minutes to get from airport to New Haven. If you're flying in from out of state, this will likely be your best option. From the airport, we'd recommend you take an uber/lyft for approximately $77.

NYC Airports: LaGuardia, Newark, JFK
Flying into one of the NYC airports is also an option. You'll need to then rent a car to drive to New Haven or travel to Grand Central Station in NYC to catch the MetroNorth train to New Haven. The train ride typically takes 1 hour 45 mins to 2 hours.

Tweed New Haven Airport
Tweed is the closest airport to New Haven but is also very small. Flights to Tweed will most likely involve a connecting flight from your original destination and the tickets tend to be pricier. However, flying to Tweed would be a 10-minute Uber/drive to downtown New Haven.

Metro North Railroad
If traveling from New York City to New Haven, we recommend taking Metro North Railroad. You can catch the Metro North from Grand Central to New Haven (approximately 1 hour 45 mins to 2 hours) for approximately $35 round trip. There are two New Haven stops you can choose from as your final destination -- State Street and Union Station. We recommend you travel to the Union Station stop as that will put you closer to the heart of downtown.

Lighthouse Point
Below are the directions provided by the Lighthouse Point venue for best ways to reach the location. From I-95 North Take Woodward Ave. exit, Exit 50. At the third traffic light, go right onto Townsend Avenue. Follow Townsend until you reach Lighthouse Road. Turn right onto Lighthouse Rd. The entrance to Lighthouse Park is at the end of the street, on the left. From I-95 South Take the Frontage Rd. exit, Exit 51, toward US-1/Lighthouse Pt. Stay straight to go onto Frontage Rd/Saltonstall Pkwy. Frontage Rd/Saltonstall Pkwy becomes Forbes Ave. Turn left onto Townsend Ave./CT-337. Turn Right onto Lighthouse Rd. The entrance to Lighthouse Park is on the left. From CT-8 South Take the CT-34 exit, Exit 15 toward Derby/New Haven. Turn right onto CT-34 E/Main St. Turn slight right onto Derby Ave./CT-34 E. Turn right onto Ella T Grasso Blvd/CT-10/CT-34. Turn left onto Legion Ave/CT-34 E. Merge onto CT-34 E via the ramp on the left toward College St. Merge onto I-95 N and continue to follow directions above for I-95 N.

The Omni has let us know that they are sold out for Friday, May 3 but still has availability on Saturday, May 4. If you were looking to get into town on Friday, we recommend the New Haven Hotel. It's just around the corner from the Omni, so would be walkable to use the shuttle on Saturday and easy to meet up with others throughout the weekend.
