Reed and Noelia's story is a modern one. The two first matched on a dating app, Hinge, and after a series of brief messages, decided to meet in person. For Reed, it was, “I'm going to marry her.” For Noelia, it was more like, “How does this guy seem so interesting on paper...and so quiet in real life?” As they spent more time together, Reed worked through his nerves and slowly let more of his personality show. At the same time, Noelia was getting used to the idea of someone new in her life, and so was Aspen, who is always a great judge of character. Like many good stories, Reed and Noelia's isn't perfectly linear. At one point, they decided to take a step back and focus on growing individually. But even during that time, their paths had a way of continuing to intersect, each time reflecting on how much they had both grown. Eventually, it became clear that it was time to grow together. In 2024, they moved in together in Philadelphia, where their lives and love continued to deepen. In March 2025, Reed proposed to Noelia in Telluride, Colorado, her favorite place. He told her, “I know this is your happy place, but my happy place is wherever you and Aspen are.” And that brings us to now, with Reed still holding onto his very first thought when he met Noelia, and Noelia choosing the man she came to fully know, not just the quiet one from the first date.
