Flight

Flying In

Most guests will want to fly into Seattle–Tacoma International Airport (SEA). From Sea-Tac, Poulsbo is about 1.5–2 hours away, depending on traffic and whether you choose to take a ferry. Renting a car at the airport is the simplest and most flexible option for getting around.

Driving

Poulsbo is easy to reach by car, and driving the entire way is a straightforward option. From Seattle or Sea-Tac, you can drive via the Tacoma Narrows Bridge without taking a ferry. If you prefer predictability and minimal logistics, driving the full route is the most reliable choice.

The easiest car-free route is the light rail + ferry + bus, running about 2 hours total for around $15 1. Link Light Rail (1 Line) from SeaTac/Airport Station → Pioneer Square Station 2. WSF Ferry (Seattle–Bainbridge Island) from Coleman Dock 3. Kitsap Transit Route 390 bus from Bainbridge Island Ferry Terminal → Poulsbo If you want a simpler single-transfer option, the Bremerton-Kitsap Airporter shuttle runs directly from SeaTac Airport to Poulsbo roughly hourly — about 2 hours, but tickets run ~$42. More expensive but far less juggling. Kitsap Transit bus route 344 is a convenient ride for getting around the town of Poulsbo, but it does not go to the wedding venue.

Taking a ferry is not required to get to Poulsbo, but it can be a scenic option with great views of Mt. Rainier and the possibility for whale sightings. Common routes: - Edmonds to Kingston - Seattle to Bainbridge Island (best option from SeaTac) Ferries can save driving distance, but may involve wait times.
