We're Getting Married!

We both met in RE class at Loreto college during our first week. Charlotte tried to initiate a conversation with Reece but was completely ignored. Turns out he just hadn't heard her as he had his headphones in! We spent the following weeks getting to know each other going on cinema and Starbucks dates. Then on the 16th December 2016 we became official!

Our first holiday was to Majorca and it wasn't without its mishaps! From losing the keys to the suitcase lock to being given an already occupied hotel room. Despite this we had a lovely time paddling with fish in the sea and enjoying cocktails on the terrace playing Uno.

After spending several years long distance, with Reece in Liverpool and Charlotte in Stamford, we eventually moved in together. It took a bit of getting used to being in each others space but we eventually figured it out. Although, Arwen did not take lightly to sharing the bed! A few months later we also adopted Sushi and formed our little family in Stamford.

We took a walk to St Annes Beach with Charlotte's Parents and the dogs. We decided to climb some of the sand dunes and when we reached the top Charlotte turned around to Reece down on one knee! Reece asked the fateful 4 words, Charlotte responded: "Are you sure?" promptly followed by "I have to ask my mum". We spent the rest of the day telling close family and friends followed by drinks on Blackpool seafront. The following day, after promising Reece a long engagement, Charlotte had already chosen the date and a few venues to visit.

After 18 months of living together in Stamford away from our families we decided to move back to the North. This where Charlotte found her unique job at the cat clinic and Reece started his first Software Engineering role. Arwen and Sushi enjoyed seeing more of their Auntie Hannah.

After reserving months prior, we finally moved into our first house in Standish in September 2024. We have since enjoyed landscaping by hand our back garden with the help of Paul and Karen and turning our house into a welcoming home. Arwen and Sushi have enjoyed politics with the neighbours cats and surveying the projects.

We are very much looking forward to our Wedding Day with our closest family and friends. We have waited 1115 days for this since our Engagement and we hope it will be the event of the year!
