Absolutely Not!
Please do not feel obligated to attend. We will understand whole heartedly if you do not feel safe partaking in a large gathering for any reason. Please understand that those with underlying medical conditions have a higher risk for contracting the virus, and also have a higher likelihood for worse outcomes if they do contract it. With that said, your safety is more important to us than your attendance. We'll be live streaming the ceremony for those who can't attend as well!
Social Distancing and Masks
In the weeks leading up to the wedding, please limit your exposure to others (i.e. socially distance) when possible. While there is no way to ensure zero risk of infection, you can follow CDC guidelines to reduce your risk. This means washing your hands frequently, wearing a face mask when in public, and limiting direct contact with those outside of your household. Taking these steps will significantly decrease the chances of you becoming infected prior to the wedding and potentially spreading the virus to other guests. Symptoms of COVID-19 may appear as late as 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. And remember, you don't have to be symptomatic to spread the virus to others.
Please stay home!
Please do not attend our wedding if you are actively sick, or if you or someone in your household has been sick within the past two weeks. Please remember that the symptoms of COVID-19 are not always as obvious as cough, fever, and shortness of breath. Others with COVID-19 may experience a sore throat, decreased sense of taste or smell, unexplained headache or fatigue, gastrointestinal symptoms, etc. We'll have a live stream so you can still witness it all!
It’s up to you!
We understand that restrictions and rules are changing every day. If possible, we’d recommend waiting to plan your travels or purchasing flights that can be refunded or transferred. Keep an eye on our website for updates too! Please take into account the time for quarantining after travel.
Masks, Food, Etc.
We'll be asking everyone to wear a mask, social distance, and do anything else that makes you comfortable. We want to celebrate with our loved ones but don't want anyone to feel uncomfortable for foregoing a hug or elbow bumping on the dance floor! There will be ample space to social distance and all food and beverage services will follow state guidelines. We won't be having a seating chart but encourage everyone to sit with their families or "quaran-teams."
