Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

What should I wear?

Answer

Please wear a comfortable and colorful semi-formal outfit. Semi-formal is a step up from business casual wear. Examples are cocktail dresses, fancier jumpsuits, dress pants with a blazer, and elevated accessories. Please no jeans! This event is outdoors, so pack an umbrella and sweater for the chilly evenings or potential rain.

Can I bring my child?

Answer

While we love kids, we will only be able to accommodate children whose parents are in our wedding party.

Will there be parking?

Answer

Yes! There is a lot to the right of the event entrance. This lot can fit about 40 cars. Please reach out to us if you need handicap accommodations.

Are there any other events that I should know about during the weekend?

Please view the schedule tab on our website for information on our Welcome Party and Sunday Farewell. These are the perfect opportunities to chat more and allow us to thank you for making the trip.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Yes! Please view our travel tab on website for hotel blocks and Airbnb recommendations.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please reach out to either of us if you have a severe food allergy. We already plan to accommodate vegan, gluten free and dairy free guests.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately, there is not transportation provided from the hotels to the ceremony.

What type of bar service will you be providing?

Answer

We will be providing an open bar with emphasis on signature mocktails. Guests will have the option to add a spirit to our mocktails. Beer and wine will also be provided.

Is your wedding pet friendly?

Answer

While Asheville specifically is a very dog friendly town, we will only allow immediate family dogs (Miss Maggie and Terra) on property during the wedding.

How do I get to your venue?

Answer

SAHC Community Farm is located at 180 Mag Sluder Rd, Alexander, NC 28701. Please search by the address using ALEXANDER for the city, not Asheville. The venue is on a paved road and is easily accessible in a vehicle.
