These 140 pristine acres are operated by the Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy. The farm boasts sweeping views of Mt. Pisgah and the Newfoundland Mountains. Our venue fees go toward helping SAHC conserve the unique plant and animal habitat, clean water, farmland, scenic beauty, and places for all people to enjoy outdoor recreation in the mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee. Make sure to look for the charismatic family of shaggy Scottish “Highland Coos” in the pasture. These heritage breed cattle are a small family, with a new calf welcomed in 2023.
