We met at work after he (with the fire dept.) and I (with the ambulance service) responded for an unresponsive person. He saw me and instantly knew, his work buddies teasing him afterwards. We reconnected 4 months later without me remembering him. He,however, refreshed my memory with every detail about the day we first met. I was stubborn and he chased me relentlessly for 4 more months before I finally agreed to go out with him. The rest is history !

I was working at the fire station when I called her, asking her to meet me there. When she got there, I was teaching a class to the other firemen about ropes and knots. I had my bunker pants on and all my firemen buddies standing around. When I turned to her, I dropped down to one knee and showed her a knot that had the ring tied to the end of it. I asked her to marry me and she said yes! Best decision I've ever made.
