Danielle is Rebekah's sister and Maid of Honor. She matriculated in 2020 and immigrated to the Netherlands in February 2021 to become a full time au pair and part time globe trotter. She's the definition of a nerd and when she puts her mind to something, she never gets it done because there will always be a distraction. To spot her down the aisle, just look for the tallest bridesmaid. On a more serious note, she is the best sister in the world and Rebekah could not walk down the aisle without her by her side. She goes out of her way for the people she loves and pays special attention to detail. Her wardrobe is very unique and she would not be wearing this bridesmaids dress if she had a choice. If you want a good laugh, just ask her to do the "awkward face"
Gina Dowling
Matron of Honor
Gina is the soon-to-be sister-in-law to Rebekah. She is Paul's favorite sister and the main organizer behind it all! She is some big shot in her company and nobody really knows what she does...Buy her a drink and see if you can figure out her job description. She is a beautiful person inside and out and always goes out of her way to make a person feel special. She is loyal and someone you can always count on no matter what. She puts others needs before her own. (Often to her own detriment) One of the most selfless people you will ever know. She loves a good book, the beach and the sun. She is the definition of a foodie. Makes a mean meal! Having Gina in your life, means having a sister for life.
Marlise Hanekom
Bridesmaid
Marlise and Rebekah have been friends for 14 years. She is travelling all the way from Pretoria to be a part of Rebekah and Paul's special day. She has a passion for music and has the most amazing voice! She is one talented person. Buy her a drink (Chai Latte, Hot choc or Red cappuccino even though it's summer) and maybe she will join the band on stage and play a song! She is an animal lover and has about 100 dogs, Guinea pigs, rabbits, birds and you name it. She hates liars even though she is one. Her famous lie that she will never live down, is the story of BEFEE the bird. Her and Rebekah rescued a baby bird and it "Flew away" whilst in her care. When you see her, ask her for the full story. It will be a great conversation starter... She is a shining light to all those she meets.
Ashley Wright
Bridesmaid
Rebekah and Ashley have been friends for 13 years and were neighbors for 7 of those years. They met through Rebekah's granny and bonded over Rebekah's pet hamster. The rest is history. Ashley is extremely creative and has a passion for art and the beauty industry. She specializes in nails and makeup. She is the master behind Rebekah's face on her big day so if it looks bad then you know who not to go to. In her spare time, she is an avid gamer and enjoys dinosaur games. She loves the outdoors and the ocean. She is blunt and not afraid of offending you. If you would like an honest opinion or to have your ego knocked, buy her a drink and let her have at it. To have her as a friend is a blessing and she will always be your moral compass, shoulder to cry on and a true spiritual sister.
Alexandra Breckwoldt

Alex and Rebekah met in Grade 9 when Rebekah moved to Rhenish High. She was one of Rebekah's first friends at the new high school and they clicked immediately. They have been friends for 9 years and counting. Alex is a gentle soul that is always there to comfort, support and laugh with you. She is an excellent listener and a loyal friend. She is a creative person that enjoys arts and crafts but also an excellent academic. When she sets her mind to something, she gives 100% and easily achieves 100% without much effort! She is an animal lover, especially a dog lover and more specifically, (a Sausage dog lover). She is the "quiet friend" but don't be fooled, she definitely knows how to have a good time. Being Alex's friend means that you will never feel alone.

Where to begin with the best man (In more ways than one)...In a nutshell, Jem is a real Gem. Paul and Jem have shared a true bromance for 21 years and counting. He enjoys anything fitness related but a huge nerd at heart. He has an infectious laugh and nobody can tell a story like Jem. He loves nature and the outdoors. He has a passion for cycling, running, hiking and adventure. If there was an award for a true friend, it would go to him. He will always have your back, through the good times and the bad. He is a people person and very easy going! He loves kids and is the designated baby sitter for the evening ;) (Just kidding) Buy him a beer, be lekker and you'll have a friend for life.

Craig is the reason behind the love Paul has for wildlife and the reason why he was hardly ever at school. A life long friend of 20 years and a special bond that will never be broken no matter the distance between them. Craig knows how to live in the moment and has a heart as pure as gold. He has a spirit for adventure and when he's not walking with giraffes, he's exploring the world and all it's hidden wonders. To all the single ladies (and not so single), he is TAKEN!
Wentzel Dowling
Groomsman & Master of Ceremonies
Dr Wentzel B Dowling (goes by Dr Goldstein) is a specialist in Medical Microbiology/Pathology and Virology. He studied for 15 years only to be a humble doctor that prefers to just be called by his first name. He is an antivaxxer and against all antibiotics. He believes Covid19 was possibly made in a lab and that we are heading for a Pokémon apocalypse. In his free time he likes to braai, invest in cryptocurrency and dress up as cookie monster . Makes a killer potjie and always adds the perfect amount of salt. He will make sure that the wedding speeches aren't too long and that your glasses will always be full. If he sees you aren't dancing, he will be sure to turn that coffee into a woffee. When 99 Red Balloons starts to play, keep your eyes on him and make sure your kids eyes are closed.
Dieter Kotze
Groomsman
Dieter is the definition of a really nice guy. He is down to earth and a genuine person and friend. He is trustworthy and a true gentleman. You can always have a good laugh with him and he is easy to get along with. Paul and Dieter met in the gym and their friendship still continues with combined interests that leads them onto the cricket field most Saturdays. You can have a serious conversation with him but also enjoy a good laugh. He is a positive person that always uplifts those around him. He is well connected and always knows a good deal of which he is always willing to share.
Marc Castignani
Brother of the Groom
Marc is Paul's older brother by 14 months. They are basically twins. Marc enjoys the outdoors and has a passion for running. So if Paul decides to get cold feet on the day and becomes the runaway groom, Marc will be the one to catch him and bring him back to the altar where he belongs. He is a sensitive soul and has a heart of gold. He is the brother that Rebekah never had. If he could live off any choice of food, it would definitely be Oreos. If you need help with anything, Marc is the guy to go to. He does everything without complaining and has a true servant heart. He hates small talk and prefers deep, meaningful one on one conversations.
Janine Frylinck
Mother of the Bride
Janine is the beautiful mother of the bride. She is a jack of all trades and can do ANYTHING she puts her mind to. She is a horticulturalist and loves plants more than people. She is creative and very good at DIY projects. You will definitely be seeing her creative skills on display at the wedding. She loves helping others and has a very big heart. She doesn't care about what people think and lives her life. She can be quite daring and has some very entertaining stories to share. If she has a glass of champagne in her hand, you are bound to have a good laugh with her. Etienne is the one and only Father-Of-The-Bride. He is a very chilled and laid back person that loves people. He eats, sleeps and breathes music and his hand will not function normally without a guitar in it. He will be behind all the music and entertainment at the wedding and will make sure that everyone has a great time. You are bound to always have a good laugh with him (or at him...) He is the life at all parties and has a heart of gold. "A father holds his daughter's hand for a short while, but he holds her heart forever. Janice is the lovely Mother-Of-The-Groom! She is made of sugar and spice and real estate advice! Her spirit animal is definitely a Jack Russel Terrier (Enough said). Feisty, independent, clever and loyal. This sums up Janice. She may be small yet feisty but has the biggest heart for people and animals. She always puts others needs before her own. She will always make you feel important and loved. She raised with love, the groom and taught him respect, kindness and loyalty. Cesare Castignani
Father of the Groom
Cesare is the amazing Father-Of-The-Groom! Goes by Chez. He is the king of all dad jokes and will definitely throw in a joke in his speech. (Please laugh...) It will go something like this: "Why do melons have weddings?" - Because they Cantaloupe... Chez is always up to helping out wherever he can and goes above and beyond to make sure your problem is solved. Whether it's work related, IT related or a personal problem. No problem is too big or too small. He has the biggest heart and loves and cares for everyone around him. He makes amazing food when he does cook but doesn't enjoy cleaning up. His goal in life is to always, without fail, leave the peanut butter out and keep the ants fat and happy on bread crumbs. "Any man can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a dad."
