Emerson and Nate have been best friends for almost 10 years. They met playing softball together in Minot. Emerson and Nate play softball, fish and hunt together. There isn't much they don't do together and Bekah frequently tags along as the third wheel.
Laurie Woodling

Bekah and Laurie "Sis" have known each other for 17 years. They met when Sis was getting a tattoo and Bekah sat with her through the pain unknowing they would become the best of friends years later. They have been best friends for the past 11 years, although Bekah moving to Minot threw a curve ball into their relationship. However, their friendship has survived the distance and they have grown closer despite living 1500 miles from each other. Distance truly does make the heart grow fonder.
Nate Samuelson
Best Man
The two Nates met in the Air Force in 2006. They were inseparable for the first 6 years and then Nate S. sadly moved away. Their friendship has also survived the distance and they get together annually to celebrate Nate A's birthday with an ice fishing trip.....even when the ice is not considered safe to fish on.
Bonnie Hughbanks
Bridesmaid
Bonnie and Bekah met playing softball in 2015. They instantly shared a common interest as Bonnie is an RN and Bekah is a PA-C. Bonnie and Bekah have become best friends over the past 5 years. We never bore each other with our endless medical stories that only we understand. Bonnie's kids have watched Flynn for over 3 years- from changing his diapers, to cleaning up his pee when he decided to pee all over the floor- Lex has seen it all. Flynn now says he is going to marry Lex....so you never know Bonnie and Bekah could be related through marriage some day!
Doug Smith
Groomsman
Nate and Doug "Smitty" met while working together in the Air Force over ten years ago. Since then they have remained close by playing softball and hunting together. When Nate iced Smitty and asked him to be in our wedding, Smitty replied with, "I guess, now I have to shave and dress up again!"
Jennifer Watson
Bridesmaid
Bekah and Jenn met while playing softball the summer of 2015. Bekah became part of the fab 5 after playing ball on Ackerman Surveying the summer of 2016. Jenn and Bekah have had some crazy adventures together including becoming famous on the red carpet at the NBA Hall of fame induction ceremony in 2018. Bekah and Jenn make up the left side of the infield on their softball team...Bekah wishes she had Jenn's accurate arm and Jenn wishes she could be a vacuum fielder like Bekah! JK love you ;)
James Kassube
Groomsman
Nate met James while golfing at Minot Air Force Base in 2006. They then went to Guam in 2010 and continued their love of golfing together! They have also played softball and fished together for years. James moved away to Japan for 4 years and then was lucky enough to be stationed back in Minot in March of 2019. According to Nate, James has yet to catch a fish in the summer on Lake Audobon.
Brandy Hartman

Brandy and Bekah also met playing softball together in the summer of 2015 (See the common theme here?) Brandy then asked Bekah to play on her team permanently in the summer of 2016. From Magic Men in Bismarck to Wedding Dress Shopping in Fargo and all of the Hartman's house parties the shenanigans are endless! This last summer we spent countless hours cheering on our hunnies playing softball together. She introduced us to the hilariousness of Telestrations and we introduced her to the sport of icing!
Seth Goodling
Groomsman
Last but not least is Seth, who Nate has known for over 20 years. From beer can Jenga to Boone's Farm in the deerstand these two have done it all. Seth moved away from PA when they were in middle school/high school and they lost touch for a few years. It wasn't until Nate looked him up while he was in Tech School in Texas and the shenanigans continued right where they left off.
Natalie Davy

Last but not least the 5th member of the Fab 5! Once again Natalie and Bekah met while playing softball in 2016. Natalie tries to take credit for hooking Nate and Bekah up....as she tried to hook them up at a local bar not knowing they actually went there together. Nat is a Veterinary Assistant and Bekah is a Physician Assistant so we ask each others advice, me for her human family and her for all my fur babies.
