We met playing softball in Minot, ND. Nate was originally from Selinsgrove, PA and Bekah originally from New Columbia, PA. We grew up living 20 minutes away from each other in Central PA and our paths never crossed. Nate moved to Minot in 2005 with the Air Force. Bekah moved to Minot in 2012 because of the Air Force. We had known each other a few years and finally decided in January of 2018 to go on a date and here we are!

The first place we kissed was in our Best Man Emerson's front yard in front of a tall pine tree. Emerson gave that tree to the City of Minot to use for the downtown Christmas tree in November of 2018. On 12/18/18 we went on a date night to dinner and a movie. We were headed to the Starving Rooster when Nate suggested we should take a picture in front of Emerson's tree. We sat in the sleigh and took a selfie, when we got out of the sleigh Nate told me this night had been perfect but I was missing something. I literally looked around like an idiot for a few seconds trying to figure out what I was missing and when I turned back toward him he was down on one knee and asked me and Flynn to marry him and Bryson. Doesn't get much sweeter than that!
