[COFFEE] : Another great coffee shop that recently became more established with a storefront in the last few years! Definitely recommend visiting the shop in person if you're also into checking out the vintage scenery in Richmond.
[DRINKS] : To satisfy your craving for a light, refreshing beverage! Buskey Cider has quickly become one of our favorites on a warm summer's day or a crisp autumn afternoon.
[FOOD] : This is THE spot to be to grab a quick bite - whether you're looking for a juicy smash burger or some loaded fries to share! We've been here plenty of times especially after running the Monument Ave 10K and Richmond Half/Marathon. Rebekah had never craved a burger in her life until she tried the Cheddar Melt!
[FOOD] : If you love a good quesabirria or a burrito, this is a must-visit location! It's also attached to The Veil Brewing Co. so feel free to grab a refreshing beer or cider while you're at it!
[FOOD] : If you find yourself out of the city and in the West End, this Italian restaurant has all you need in terms of generous portions of pasta and salads! You really cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. We recommend you call beforehand and make reservations, as it is really popular amongst the locals as well, especially on the weekends!
[FOOD] : Richmond is home to some of the best and most consistent Vietnamese cuisine, and this is one of the best restaurants for a nice bowl of pho and to grab some boba while you're at it!
[FOOD] : If you're looking for a brunch spot in the heart of Richmond, this is it! Mason and Rebekah went on one of their first Richmond dates here and had such a memorable time with some mimosas, an Atlantic omelette, and a red velvet waffle.
[ FOOD] : An ideal brunch restaurant for those of you close to Scott's Addition! They've got your typical brunch options as well as elevated menu items for lunch/dinner such as Char Grilled Octopus!
[FOOD] : For those of you craving some good Chinese food, Beijing on Grove has got the atmosphere and the flavors!
[FOOD] : Located in Scott's Addition, Lucky AF will be sure to satisfy any sushi or Japanese cuisine cravings! If you find yourself here, be sure to check out their Blue Oyster Cult roll - trust us, this will not disappoint.
[DESSERT] : Looking for a sweet treat? This is our go-to ice cream parlor, and you'll find that the rest of Richmond City agrees! All the flavors are phenomenal, but one of our favorites is the Creme Brulee!
[DESSERT] : As one of the newer boba shops in town, Tsaocaa does not disappoint! Grab some boba to brighten up your day! This location also has food menu items for those who are interested.
[DESSERT] : Never too many sweet treats! Breco Tea has a wide selection of Chinese bakery items as well as boba! We personally enjoy the regular Bubble Milk Tea (fair warning: the item Boba Brown Sugar Milk does NOT contain tea - only milk - so make sure you read the menu carefully before ordering)!
[ATTRACTIONS] : Whether you appreciate art or are simply looking for a place to picnic, VMFA has got what you're looking for! Admission for the main exhibits are free all year round and the sculpture garden right outside is a favorite amongst Richmonders to grab a book and a blanket and simply take in the sunlight.
[ATTRACTIONS] : If you find that you have a free morning/afternoon, definitely make your way on down to Carytown. This quaint street has a handful of local shops and restaurants to check out!
[ATTRACTIONS] : This 100-acre Victorian estate and public park in Richmond is the perfect place to be for those of you who love being outdoors and appreciating nature! It's got the perfect views to take pictures or simply have a lovely afternoon stroll.
[ATTRACTIONS] : Calling all book worms! Libbie mill is one of the nicest libraries in town where you can find a cozy spot to finish up some work or grab a book and read for the day!
[ENTERTAINMENT] : Come check out this miniature golf course set up throughout a hotel! They offer cocktails as well as a brunch menu during the weekends, and it's overall a great spot to hang out with friends while engaging in a little friendly competition!
[SHOPPING] : If you're looking for some good thrift finds, Carytown has its own Buffalo Exchange which, in our opinion, has some of the best selections at a decently manageable price range.
