What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses or a suit and tie or a sports coat. No jeans or T-shirts please.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Based on long-term weather patterns and early projections for late 2026, Louisiana can expect a relatively warm and dry October. Daytime maximums are expected to reach around 27°C (roughly 80-81°F). Minimum night temperatures are projected to drop to around 14°C–16°C (57°F–61°F).

Answer

The ceremony will be held at Saint Martin de Tours Catholic church with the reception to follow across the street at Maison de Tours in Saint Martinville, Louisiana.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held indoors at Saint Martin de Tours Catholic Church with reception to follow at Maison de tours which has indoor/outdoor space with accommodations should it rain.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Guests can head straight to the reception hall, where we will be serving finger foods and beverages during a cocktail hour.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is seated on time.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.
