Getting to Porto

The wedding hotel is located about an hour drive from the Porto airport, and a three-and-a-half-hour drive from the Lisbon airport. There are daily direct flights on Tap Portugal and United from Newark to Porto, and most other airlines fly to Porto with one connection. Many of our guests will want to rent a car to explore Porto and the Douro Valley, but Ubers from Porto to Monverde are also readily available.

We've reserved the hotel for Sunday-Tuesday for all of our guests to enjoy. We'll reach out to each guest to arrange your booking. Please let us know if you plan to stay for additional nights, and we can arrange for that as well.

Enjoying Portugal

We can't wait for everyone to get to experience the beauty of Portugal (we promise by the end of the trip you'll be thanking us for making you travel all the way there). We know many of our guests are planning to spend a few extra days in and around Portugal. We love Lisbon and the Algarve and would be happy to share our reccomendations.
