Ferry without Car
High-Speed Ferries depart from Hyannis. Ferries offer convenient on-site parking. It’s a good idea to book your ferry tickets and parking in advance. You can purchase tickets online through the ferry company’s website. Plan to arrive at the ferry terminal at least 30 minutes before your departure time. The ferry will dock in Nantucket, which is centrally located downtown. If you're staying at The Nantucket Hotel, there are complimentary shuttles to pick you up.

Traditional Car Ferry's departs from Hyannis, MA. Although, you do not need a car on island! Hotels are accessible downtown by walking, biking, shuttle services and by Uber or Lyft. If you plan to bring your car to Nantucket, you must make a reservation well in advance of your travel date.

Nantucket has an airport, which is only a 15 minute drive to town. Uber and taxis are very easy to get in Nantucket. You can fly with a layover with Jet Blue or Cape Air.
